Adjusting the Installation Direction

The housing can be rotated approximately 340° to orient the display.

Wiring

Preparing the Cables

Use appropriate cables (AWG12-26 for power, AWG16-26 for signal). Recommended: shielded power cable.

Cable End Processing

Strip insulation and use ferrule terminals with specified tip lengths (8.0-10.0 mm for power, 8.0-10.0 mm for separate cables). Ensure total ferrule length does not exceed 127mm or 20mm respectively.

Wiring Procedure (Integrated Display)

  1. Loosen screws on the display unit and open the front.
  2. Pass power cable through the gland and wire to the upper terminal block. Tighten gland nut.
  3. Push cables in fully and check connections.
  4. Remove sensor head cover and attach cable gland to sensor head.
  5. Pass separated cable through the gland and wire to the terminal block. Tighten gland nut.
  6. Attach cable insertion port cover to the bottom of the display unit.
  7. Attach the separate cable to the display unit's side cable. Route wires and connect to the terminal block. Tighten gland nut.
  8. Connect the ground wire to the ground terminal on the sensor head.
  9. Close the display unit front and tighten screws.

Wiring Procedure (Separate Display)

Refer to the manual for detailed steps on wiring a separate display unit.

Wiring with External Devices

Examples are provided for wiring to NPN and PNP input devices, including connections for 4-20mA output.

Note: Turn off power during wiring. Be careful not to pinch wires when closing the case.
