Assembly Instructions

The following steps detail the assembly process for the KRAUSE mobile platform ladder. Ensure all parts are present and correctly identified before beginning assembly. Recommended torque values are indicated where applicable.

Step 1: Attaching Platform Supports

Parts Required:

Platform Supports (A) - 20x
Base Structure Components (B)
Screws (a) M8 x 15 mm - 20x
Washers (b) 8.4 mm - 20x
Nuts (c) M8 - 20x

Tools Required: Allen key (5 mm), Spanner (13 mm), Torque wrench.

Torque: 25 Nm

Attach the platform supports (A) to the base structure (B) using the specified screws, washers, and nuts. Ensure a secure fit and tighten to the recommended torque.

Step 2: Assembling the Ladder Sections

Ladder Sections (C) - 2x

Torque: 25 Nm

Connect the two ladder sections (C) to the central base structure. Ensure they are properly aligned and secured.

Step 3: Installing the Main Platform

Main Platform (E) - 2x
Screws (a) M8 x 32 mm - 4x
Washers (b) 19 mm - 4x
Washers (c) 8.4 mm - 4x
Nuts (d) M8 - 4x

Tools Required: Spanner (19 mm), Torque wrench.

Torque: 10 Nm

Install the main platform sections (E) onto the assembled ladder structure. Use the provided hardware and tighten to the specified torque.

Step 4: Attaching Castors

Screws (a) M8 x 20 mm - 8x
Washers (b) 8.4 mm - 8x

Tools Required: Allen key (8 mm), Spanner (8.4 mm), Torque wrench.

Torque: 25 Nm

Attach the swivel castors (F and G) to the base of the ladder. Ensure the locking castors are placed appropriately for stability. Secure with screws, washers, and nuts, tightening to 25 Nm.

Step 5: Installing Handrails

Washers (b) 8.4 mm

Tools Required: Allen key (5 mm), Spanner.

Torque: 20 Nm

Install the handrails (D) by connecting the various components using the specified hardware. Ensure all connections are secure and tightened to 20 Nm.

Step 6: Attaching Stabilizer Bar

Attach the stabilizer bar (H) to the designated points on the ladder structure. Secure using the provided screws, washers, and nuts, tightening to 25 Nm.
