Intended Use
- These lateral rest platforms may only be connected to the KRAUSE steel fixed ladder.
- Attachment to the aluminium fixed ladder is prohibited!
- These lateral rest platforms may only be used on fixed ladders in accordance with DIN EN 18799-1.
- The corresponding KRAUSE fixed ladder assembly and usage instructions must also be observed.
- Installation may only be carried out with verified wall holders at the standard maximum fixing distance of 1,960 mm. Verified wall holder article numbers include: 835239, 835192, 835208, 835215, 837561, 837554, 835086, 835093, 837646.
- At least M12, 8.8 screws must be used for fastening in all holes of the holders.
- Use only anchoring devices approved by the building authorities which can transfer the loads into the anchoring base.
- Depending on the anchoring substrate, ensure that the occurring forces can be transferred to the substructure. If necessary, this must be checked and verified by the structural engineer.
- The substrate must have sufficient load-bearing capacity.

Step 1: Attaching to Ladder
Step 1a: Securing the first platform section
