Important Note
The scale determines body composition via Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). A harmless signal passes through the body. Therefore, the scale is not suitable for individuals using a pace-maker or other implanted medical devices. Consult a doctor if in doubt.
Pregnant women and individuals under 18 years of age should not use the scale for body analysis, as accurate body fat values cannot be obtained in these cases.

Powering On and Usage
Power Supply
The scale operates on two 1.5 V LR3/AAA batteries (3 V total).
- Open the battery compartment cover (I).
- Insert the 1.5 V LR3/AAA batteries, paying attention to the polarity indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
Battery Indications
- Do not expose batteries to extreme heat (e.g., sunlight, heaters, fire).
- When batteries are low, the display will show "Lo".
- Remove batteries when discharged or if the scale will not be used for an extended period. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by battery leakage.
Environmental Advice
Do not dispose of used batteries, even those without heavy metals, with household waste. Used batteries must be disposed of in designated collection containers at commercial outlets and municipal waste disposal facilities.
Using the Scale
No data entry is required to measure body weight.
- The scale measures body weight in 100 g increments.
- It utilizes a precise 4-point measurement system.
- Select the desired measurement units (e.g., kg, lb, st) using the selector switch (H) on the back.
- Place the scale on a smooth, flat surface.
- Turn on the scale by lightly stepping on the lower right corner of the glass surface (F). The display (E) will show "888".
- Once "0.0 kg" is displayed, carefully step onto the glass surface of the scale.
- Remain still on the scale until the indicated weight flashes twice and stops changing. The measured weight will then be displayed. The scale will automatically switch off after approximately 5 seconds.
Tip: If "O-LD" [overload indicator] is displayed during weighing, the scale has been overloaded. It will switch off automatically after about 5 seconds.
Operation: Body Composition Analysis
After entering your personal parameters, you can use the body composition analysis function. The process is described using user 01 as an example.
Measurement and data transmission occur via bare feet placed on the measuring electrodes (A). Ensure both feet are correctly positioned on the scale.
Entering User Data
For the first-time use of the body composition function, you need to select and enter the following data:
- User parameter (01 to 12)
- Gender
- Height (75 to 215 cm)
- Age (10 to 99)
- Physical activity level (A1 to A4)
Note: After entering data for the first time, you do not need to press the SET button (C) for subsequent use. Simply select the corresponding user parameter (01 to 12) using buttons B and D.
If no button is pressed for more than 20 seconds during data entry, the scale will automatically switch off, and you will need to start over.
Parameter Entry Steps
- Place the scale on a smooth, flat surface and turn it on by lightly stepping on the lower right corner of the glass surface (F). The display (E) will show "888".
- Press the SET button (C) as soon as "0.0 kg" appears. The user parameter "01" will flash.
- Select your desired user parameter (01 to 12) using buttons B and D, then confirm with the SET button (C).
- Confirm the user selection (e.g., male) with the SET button (C). The height will flash on the display.
- Set the height using buttons B and D, then confirm with the SET button (C). The age will flash on the display.
- Set the age using buttons B and D, then confirm with the SET button (C). The activity level (A1) will flash on the display.
- Set your personal physical activity level using buttons B and D. The options are:
- A1: People with little or no exercise.
- A2: People with sedentary jobs.
- A3: People with light physical activity.
- A4: People with strenuous jobs, dancers, athletes, etc.
- Confirm your activity level selection with the SET button (C).
Performing the Analysis
Once your parameters are entered, the body composition analysis can be performed.
The scale will sequentially display the following values:
- Body Mass Index (BMI): Calculated as weight (kg) / height (m)².
- Body Fat Percentage (TBF): Includes an interpretation of your weight status (lean, normal, slightly overweight, overweight). If the body fat percentage is unrealistic, "Err" will be displayed, and the scale will switch off.
- Body Water Percentage (TBW) and Ideal Weight: Based on your entered data.
- Muscle Mass Percentage (TBM), Bone Mass Percentage: In relation to body weight (kg), and a daily calorie requirement recommendation (Kcal).
Each value and information set is displayed twice, remaining visible for approximately 6 seconds each time. The scale then switches off automatically.
Note: Values are stored separately for each user (01-12). Data is erased when batteries are removed.
Important: Step onto the glass surface barefoot. Ensure your feet are positioned over the measuring electrodes (A). The scale will display the measured weight and a rotating symbol [processing] twice.
Interpreting Your Measurements
Body Water Percentage
Water is a fundamental component of the body, typically ranging from 35% to 70% of body weight. It supports biochemical reactions and helps remove waste products. Maintaining adequate hydration is important.
The following tables provide guidelines for evaluating your body fat and water percentages. There are no specific guidelines for muscle or bone mass.
It is more important to observe the trend of your body fat, water, muscle, and bone mass percentages over time rather than focusing solely on your weight.
Ensure your bare feet are always in good contact with the measuring electrodes. Very dry skin or thick calluses can affect analysis results, displaying "Err" [error indicator].
Body Fat Percentage
Monitoring body fat percentage is crucial. Excess body fat can contribute to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, and other health issues. The American College of Sports Medicine offers the following recommendations for body fat percentage:
- Measure weight, body fat, and water percentage daily at the same time, preferably in the evening.
- If possible, use the scale while nude for the most accurate results.
- Measurement results are not suitable for medical diagnosis. Consult a doctor if you have concerns.
- Feet should always be clean and dry.
