Preparation
Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts are present by comparing them with the package contents and hardware lists. Do not attempt assembly if any part is missing or damaged.
Estimated Installation Time: 45 minutes (plus 24 hours for silicone caulk to dry).
Tools Required (not included): Phillips screwdriver, utility knife or scissors, silicone caulk, power drill with drill bit.
Helpful Tools (not included): Measuring tape, level.
Installation Instructions
-
Remove the top (B) from the vanity (A). Place the top (B) and backsplash (C) face down onto a scratch-free surface, such as the foam sheet from the packaging.
Diagram 1 illustrates detaching the top (B) from the vanity (A) and placing both components face down on a protective surface.
-
Clean the area where the vanity (A) will be permanently located, ensuring it will not interfere with water supply or drain lines once mounted. With two people, carefully place the vanity (A) against the wall in its final position. Use the pre-assembled levelers on the bottom of each leg to level the vanity. Turning levelers counterclockwise raises the vanity; clockwise lowers it. Once the vanity is in place and level, drill a hole through the vanity's mounting area into the wall studs. Using appropriate mounting hardware (not included), secure the vanity (A) to at least one wall stud for stability, preferably two.
Diagram 2 shows the vanity (A) being placed against the wall and leveled using its leg levelers. It also illustrates drilling into wall studs for secure mounting.
WARNING: Vanity (A) MUST be secured to the wall.
Note: It may be easier to install the faucet and drain kit (not included) to the top (B) before proceeding.
-
Apply silicone caulk (not included) to the top edge of the vanity (A). With the help of another adult, gently lower the top (B) onto the vanity (A). Wipe away any excess caulk with a soft cloth and allow approximately 24 hours for it to dry.
Diagram 3 depicts applying silicone caulk to the vanity's top edge and carefully lowering the top (B) onto the vanity (A).
-
Apply silicone caulk (not included) to the unpolished side and bottom of the backsplash (C). Position the backsplash (C) onto the top (B) and against the wall. Clean any excess caulk before it dries.
Diagram 4 illustrates applying silicone caulk to the backsplash (C) and positioning it against the wall on top of the vanity's top (B).
-
The back of the vanity is open for drain and water line hookups. If your plumbing exits the back wall, insert the floor plumbing cutout lid (I) as shown in Illustration 5. This closes the hole and increases storage space. If plumbing exits from the floor, this opening provides access for drain and water line hookup.
Illustration 5 shows the floor plumbing cutout lid (I) being inserted into the back of the vanity (A) for access to plumbing connections.
-
To adjust cabinet doors: Loosen screws (a) on hinges to adjust doors up or down. Turn screws (b) on hinges to adjust doors left or right. Loosen screws (c) on hinges to adjust doors in or out. Re-tighten screws after adjustments.
Diagram 6 provides detailed views of adjusting cabinet doors using specific hinge screws (a, b, c) for vertical, horizontal, and depth alignment.
-
To remove a drawer: Fully extend the drawer. Locate the plastic levers on the metal glide tracks. Push the left and right levers simultaneously to disengage the drawer from the glides. Gently lift the drawer upwards to remove it from the vanity (A).
Diagram 7 illustrates extending a drawer and using the plastic levers on the drawer glides to disengage and remove the drawer from the vanity (A).
-
To reinstall a drawer: Fully extend the metal glide tracks. Gently lower and slide the drawer box into the rear glide catch. Lower the drawer box to rest completely on the extended glides. Push the plastic levers to lock the drawer box in place. Drawer box alignment can be adjusted using the wheel on the glide: turning left raises the drawer box, turning right lowers it. Glide heights can also be adjusted independently for optimal alignment.
Diagram 8 shows the process of reinstalling a drawer, including resting it on the extended glides and locking it with the plastic levers. It also highlights the adjustment wheel for fine-tuning drawer height.
CAUTION: DO NOT force the drawer or damage the glides. If the drawer does not slide easily, remove it and try again.
Assembly is now complete. Install the faucet and drain assemblies (not included) according to their manufacturer's instructions.
Care and Maintenance
- Dust the vanity regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth or household dusting product.
- Clean the vanity with a gentle, non-abrasive household cleaner.
- Dry the wood immediately with a soft cloth or towel.
- The stone top can be cleaned using standard marble cleaning agents available from your local supplier.
- Tips for using touch-up pen (AA): For scratches, stroke in the direction of the scratch. Rub off excess colorant promptly with a soft cloth.
IMPORTANT NOTES ON STONE TOP:
- Shade variations and patterns are inherent characteristics of stone. Stone tops will vary.
- Use caution placing items like soap or fragranced materials on the stone surface. Use a soap dish, coaster, or similar item to protect the surface.
- If soap or fragranced products contact the stone top, rinse the area with water and dry with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
- WARNING: Use only cleaning agents safe for stone. Check usage restrictions. Improper agents can damage the stone. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage from improper cleaning agents or soaps. Warranty does not cover such damage.
- DO NOT use products containing acetone, lemon, vinegar, or other acids on the stone top, as they can cause damage.
- Periodically reseal the stone top using an appropriate stone sealer from your local home store, following the manufacturer's application instructions.
