Introduction
This manual provides instructions for setting up and using the Yi Wireless IP Camera.

Function Introduction
The Yi Wireless IP Camera offers a range of features:
- ⏳ Time lapse: Records time-lapse videos.
- ? Two-way Audio: Enables audio communication.
- ?️ HD: Provides high-definition video quality.
- ? Remote App: Control and view the camera via the mobile application.
- ? Motion Detection: Detects movement within its field of view.
- ? Warning and playback: Triggers alerts and allows for video playback.
- ? Loop recording: Continuously records by overwriting the oldest footage.
- ⏯️ Multiple playback: Supports playback of multiple recordings or streams.
- ? WIFI: Connects wirelessly to your network.
- H.265 compression: Utilizes an efficient video compression standard.
- ☀️/? Day/night switch: Automatically switches between day and night vision modes.
- ☁️ Cloud storage: Stores video footage securely in the cloud.
Appearance Description
Front View
Diagram: The front view shows the camera body with an antenna. Labeled components include: antenna, pickup (microphone), RESET Indicator lamp, wired network port, and power port.
- Indicator lamp: A green light normally indicates the network is connected.
- RESET button: Press and hold for 3-5 seconds to restore the device to factory settings and restart.
- Power port: Supports DC 12V power input.
- Wired network port: A 10M/100M self-adaptive Ethernet port is available on some models.
? Note: Adding devices via the wired network port is not directly supported. For wired network connection, please bind the device via Wi-Fi first. The wired network connection can then be used after successful Wi-Fi binding.
Back Side View
Diagram: The back side view shows the camera's rear components. Labeled parts include: Indicator lamp, Camera lens, Loudspeaker, Built-in TF CARD slot, and Photosensitive sensor.
- Indicator lamp:
- Red light normally on: The camera is energized.
- Red light flickers: Waiting for users to add the device.
- Green light flickers: No internet access.
- Green light normally on: The camera is online and the user can view the video.
- TF CARD slot: Supports local storage with TF cards (8GB-32GB). Please initialize the TF card before use.
Warm tips
- The camera currently supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only. If your Wi-Fi network is unstable, please try a wired connection.
- When a TF card is inserted, you can continue recording. Recording will only stop when the screen changes to save storage space.
- When the TF card is added, the camera will restart. If the TF card is removed, the camera will also restart.
- Cloud storage temporarily stores only the video when the screen changes.
- After deleting the camera from the APP, you need to add the camera again manually.
- The normal TF card playback multiplier is up to 4 times. After purchasing cloud storage, the TF card playback multiplier can be up to 8 times, and the cloud playback ratio can be up to 32 times.
Device Setup
Turn on the device
- Supply the camera with power.

- During the startup of the camera, ensure the device makes a "di-di" sound and the indicator light is in a red flashing state. This indicates the camera is activated and ready to be added. If the "di-di" sound is not emitted or the indicator light is not red flashing, a manual RESET is required. Press the RESET button for 3-5 seconds until you hear the prompt sound, indicating the camera has been reset successfully.

Add camera
- Pair the camera with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. (The camera does not support 5G band Wi-Fi). Ensure your Wi-Fi network is in good condition.
- Run the mobile phone APP "YI iot". Input your registered account and password, and click login. After successful login, the main interface of the smart camera will appear. Click the '+' icon in the upper right corner to enter the camera configuration interface.
- Confirm again that the camera emits a continuous "di-di" sound and the indicator is in a red light flashing state. The camera is activated and can be added. (If the "di-di" sound is not emitted or the indicator light is not in the red light flashing state, manual RESET is required. Press the RESET button for 3-5 seconds until you hear the prompt sound, indicating the camera RESET is successful).
- Enter the Wi-Fi password for the mobile phone's connected network. Click on "connect to wi-fi", then point the QR code displayed on your phone screen to the camera at a distance of about 10 to 15 cm. Wait for the camera's language tips indicating a successful Wi-Fi connection. Click "Next" to proceed to the binding results interface. Once you hear the binding is successful message, the configuration is complete. You can then name your camera and optionally share the device with other people.
? Note: If using Sound Wave Configuration, please enlarge the volume of your phone and place the phone close to the camera.
App Features
Real-time preview

Time lapse
Click the "time lapse" icon to record the time album. You can set the time hourglass to record a long story, such as the growth of a baby or plant flowers. The camera will compress this into a few seconds or dozens of seconds of video for you to save and share. Cloud storage is required for shooting time lapses over 12 hours.

Cloud storage
Click the ☁️ icon to purchase cloud storage directly or view cloud storage information and access your cloud space. After purchasing cloud storage, you can enjoy value-added services: AI cloud search, humanoid detection, fast forward speed increase, abnormal sound detection, time hourglass recording time extension, and timing switch.

Smart Detection (Cloud storage expansion)
- Click "Settings" ⚙️ - "Smart Detection" to enable motion detection alarm. You can set up Human Detection, Abnormal Sound Detection, and Baby Crying Detection after cloud storage is enabled.
- Humanoid detection: Effectively avoids "false alarms" caused by flying insects, moved pets, or light changes. It detects humans to trigger an alarm.
- Abnormal sound detection: When an abnormal sound (e.g., a baby crying) is detected, an "abnormal sound" or "baby crying" alarm message will be sent to the mobile phone.
- Alert settings: Select alert sensitivity, alert frequency, alert period, and the sound decibel to adjust the alarm requirements.
- Click "Alerts" ? to view the pushed alarm messages and view the alarm video.

AI cloud search (Cloud storage expansion)
It takes only a few seconds to accurately retrieve a full day of highlights. Taking advantage of humanoid recognition technology, the first time to view the daily data activity and time zone distribution, quickly view the crowd activity point. Click "Cloud Storage - AI Cloud Search", click on the search image, and quickly locate the video information at the time for automatic playback in the massive data of cloud storage.

User Sign up
Click "Sign up" and complete the APP account registration according to the prompts. Currently, mobile phone number registration is not supported (except for mainland China). Other regions can use E-mail address registration. Please pay attention to the password format reminder in the account registration interface.

- Any faults or defects caused by improper operating environment or operation.
- Any faults or defects caused by improper installation, misuse, unauthorized maintenance, revision, accident, force majeure event or other external factors.
- Any faults or defects caused by using the product, software or component of the third party.
- The product has been beyond the warranty period.
- The product barcode cannot be identified or is mismatched.
- The faults or damage not arising from the design, technology, manufacturing and quality problems of the product.
