1. What's in the box

2. Getting to Know Your Camera

The YI Dome U Camera Pro features the following components:

• Indicator Light: Provides status information.
• Microphone: For audio input.
• Lens: The camera's optical lens.
• Speaker: For audio output.
• microSD Card Slot: For local storage.
• Reset Button: Used for resetting the camera to factory defaults.
• Power Port: For connecting the power adapter.

3. Pairing Your Camera

a) Prerequisite

• Ensure your mobile phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
• Download the YI Home App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Register a YI Home account or log in to an existing YI account.

b) Installation:

1. Step 1: Connect the power adapter to an outlet to activate the camera. The indicator light will flash yellow, and you will hear introductory messages like "Welcome to YI home" followed by "Waiting to connect". Once you hear "Waiting to connect", tap "I heard waiting to connect" in the app. Note: If installing a camera previously set up on a different network or after changing your Wi-Fi password, you must reset the camera by pressing the reset button located at the bottom.
2. Step 2: Log into the YI Home App. Tap the "+" sign to select your device or scan the camera's QR code with your phone.
3. Step 3: Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network your phone is connected to, then use the YI Dome U Camera Pro to scan the generated QR code.
4. Step 4: Tap "Next Step". You will hear "Pairing is successful", and the camera is ready for use.

4. Mounting Your Camera (Optional)

Prerequisites:

• Ensure the camera is facing the desired direction before mounting.
• Ensure the included USB cable can reach the desired mounting location.

Installation:

1. Step 1: Use the included screws to install the camera mount onto a flat ceiling.
2. Step 2: Install the camera by twisting and locking it into the mount base.

5. Switching Wi-Fi Networks

To switch Wi-Fi networks or update your Wi-Fi password:

1. Restore your camera to default settings by inserting a paper clip or reset pin into the camera's Reset Port.
2. Open the YI Home app on your phone and reconnect the camera. Videos stored on your MicroSD card will not be affected.

6. Important Safety Guidelines

• Read these instructions carefully.
• Clean the camera only with a dry cloth.
• This camera is intended for indoor use only.
• Use only attachments and accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
• To ensure optimal product performance, keep the YI Home app and camera firmware updated to the latest versions.
• If the power adapter's plug serves as the disconnect device, it must remain readily accessible.
