The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within the first 180 days of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered/removed serial number, invalidates all claims. Product Specifications & Warnings
- This stroller is designed for one child only. Using with more than one child may cause an unbalanced condition and injury.
- Purses, shopping bags, parcels, diaper bags, or accessory items can change the stroller's balance, creating a hazardous, unstable condition.
- Maximum weight in storage basket: 5 lbs (2.26 kg). Exceeding this weight can cause instability.
- Ensure the stroller is fully opened and locked before allowing a child near it.
- Maximum weight capacity (stroller + basket): 45 lbs (20.41 kg). Child maximum height: 40 inches (101.6 cm). Exceeding these limits can cause excessive wear, stress, and instability.
- NEVER use on stairways or escalators.
- NEVER use with roller skates, in-line skates, skateboards, or bicycles.
- NEVER allow a child to use the stroller as a toy.
Parts Identification
Before assembly, check that you have all parts for this model. The stroller includes:
- Rear Wheels
- Front Wheels
- Compact Stroller Frame

Assembly Instructions
Front Wheel Assembly
- Unlock the release lever.
- Unfold the stroller frame by pulling backward on the handle until it clicks into position.
- Lean the stroller backward and push the front wheel post into the wheel housing. Press firmly to lock each wheel. Repeat for the other side.
- Note: Pull on the wheel assembly to ensure it is securely attached.
Rear Wheel Assembly
- Lean the stroller forward and press the rear wheel post into the rear frame hub until it clicks into place. Repeat for the other side.
- Note: Pull on the rear wheel to ensure it is securely attached. Pull up the release lever to remove the rear wheel.
Canopy Assembly
- First, recline the seat as shown in Step 6.
- To close the canopy: Use the side flaps with hook-and-loop fasteners (A) and attach them to the stroller sides. Use the hook-and-loop fasteners at the lower part of the canopy flap (B) to attach them to the seat backrest.
- To open the canopy: Push forward on the front edge of the canopy while holding the rear in place.
- To fold the canopy: Pull backward on the front edge.
Storage Basket Assembly
- Close the 2 secure snap buttons on the side of the basket fabric. Wrap the small fabric flap over the frame and snap the buttons closed.
- Check that all secure snap buttons are closed on the rear section of the basket. The fabric panel wraps over the basket tubing and is secured by 4 snap buttons. Do not use the basket if any buttons are not closed completely.
Seatback Positioning
- To recline the seat: Press the clip ends together and pull down.
- To put the seat into the upright position: Press the clip ends together, hold the hoop, and push the clip up.
- Note: The upright position should be used only for a child at least 6 months old. Always re-adjust the safety harness, including shoulder belts, when repositioning the seatback.
Adjusting the Leg Support
- The leg support has multiple positions. To lift it, gently lift until it clicks into position.
- To lower it, use the release bar under the leg support and gently lower it into position.
Brake Operation
- To engage brakes: Apply light downward pressure to rotate the brake lever on the rear wheel. You may need to slightly move the stroller forward or backward to align the brake teeth with the wheel brake cluster.
- Note: Gently try to roll the stroller forward to check that it will not move. If applied correctly, the stroller will not roll.
- To release brakes: Gently rotate the brake lever upward.
Securing the Child (5-Point Harness)
- The shoulder straps have 3 attachment positions. Use the adjustable buckle to set the shoulder strap height. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below, the top of the child's shoulder.
- Carefully place the child in the stroller seat. Bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs.
- Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap.
- Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over their shoulders.
Releasing the Child
- Push the button on the center clasp; the harness buckles will pop free.
Folding the Stroller
- Close the canopy as described in the canopy section (Step 4).
- Pull the stroller backward several inches so the wheels point straight ahead.
- To fold: Slide the thumb trigger to the left and squeeze the pull trigger while pushing forward on the handle.
- Once folding begins, release the handle and push forward on it until the stroller is folded. Lock the release lever to secure the stroller.
Unfolding the Stroller
- Unlock the release lever.
- Unfold the stroller frame by pulling backward on the stroller handle.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning Seat Pad: Spot clean only. Surface wash small spots with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse with water and wipe or air dry.
- Cleaning Stroller: Surface wash stroller frame, plastic parts, and fabric with a mild soap and water solution. Wipe surfaces with water to remove soap solution. Wipe or air dry.
- Regularly check for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.
Front Wheel Replacement
If replacing the front wheel:
- Release the front wheel from the stroller frame by pushing the release button on the side of the wheel hub and pulling the wheel assembly from the hub.
