Step 1: Assemble Base Frame
Lay out the main frame components on a soft surface (like a rug) to prevent scratching. Connect the two side panels to the bottom horizontal support bars using the provided dowels and connectors. Ensure correct orientation, as indicated by diagrams showing disallowed connections (marked with ❌).

Step 2: Attach Side Panels
Insert the side panels into the base frame. Ensure they click into place securely.
Step 3: Attach Back Panel
Slide the back panel into the grooves on the side and bottom panels. Ensure it is fully seated.
Step 4: Attach Top Panel
Place the top panel onto the assembled frame. Secure it using the provided connectors and screws.
Step 5: Insert Bottom Shelf
Slide the bottom shelf into its designated position within the frame.
Step 6: Secure Back Panel
Further secure the back panel, possibly with additional fasteners or by ensuring it is fully engaged in its channels.
Step 7: Attach Side Support Bars
Attach the vertical support bars to the sides of the cabinet frame. This step may involve using parts like 151061 and a hammer for gentle persuasion.
Step 8: Attach Bottom Support Bars
Attach the horizontal support bars to the bottom of the cabinet. This involves using screws (106917) and possibly dowels/plugs (115447).
Step 9: Secure Top Frame
Attach the top frame or support structure to the top of the cabinet. This step uses clips and screws.
Step 10: Attach Top Structure
Complete the attachment of the top structure, ensuring all connections are secure.
Step 11: Finalize Top Panel Attachment
Ensure the top panel is firmly attached using screws.
Step 12: Attach Hinge Components
Attach the main hinge components (part 151059) to the cabinet frame.
Step 13: Attach Doors
Mount the doors onto the cabinet by connecting them to the hinge mechanisms. A "Click!" sound indicates proper engagement.
Step 14: Connect Units (Optional)
If assembling multiple LIXHULT cabinets, they can be joined together side-by-side or stacked. Use connecting brackets (151060) and screws (106917) to join units.
Diagrams show stacking two units or placing two units side-by-side.
