Installation Guide
Preparation
Before beginning, unpack your Antec P20C case and verify all components are present. Ensure you have the necessary tools, such as screwdrivers.
Motherboard Installation
Install the motherboard standoffs into the case chassis according to your motherboard's form factor. Align the motherboard with the standoffs and the rear I/O shield. Secure the motherboard using the provided screws.
Storage Drive Installation
2.5-inch SSD Installation: Locate the designated 2.5-inch drive bays or mounting brackets. Secure the SSD using screws. Some cases may feature tool-less mounting mechanisms for quick installation.
3.5-inch HDD Installation: Utilize the 3.5-inch drive cages or mounting points. Install the HDD and secure it with screws or tool-less retention clips. Ensure proper alignment before fastening.
Cooling System Installation
Fan Installation: Mount 120mm or 140mm fans in the front, top, rear, and bottom locations as needed. Pay attention to the airflow direction (intake ? or exhaust ?) to optimize cooling. The P20C often comes with pre-installed PWM fans.
Radiator Installation: The Antec P20C supports up to two 360 mm radiators, typically in the front and top mounting areas. Install radiators carefully, ensuring clearance for motherboard components and RAM. Connect fans to the radiator and then to the motherboard or fan controller.
Graphics Card (GPU) Installation
Remove the necessary expansion slot covers from the rear of the case corresponding to your graphics card's size. Gently insert the graphics card into the primary PCIe slot on the motherboard until it clicks into place. Secure the card to the chassis using screws. The integrated GPU bracket can be used for additional support.
Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
Mount the power supply unit in its designated bay, usually located at the bottom rear of the case. Ensure the PSU fan is oriented correctly for airflow (typically facing downwards if there's a bottom vent). Connect all necessary power cables to the motherboard, CPU, GPU, and storage devices.
Front Panel Connectors
Connect the case's front panel cables to the motherboard. This includes the power button ▶️, reset button ?, power LED, HDD LED, USB ports ?, and HD Audio jacks ?. Consult your motherboard manual for the precise location and pinout of these headers.
