Note: Place the monitor on a flat, stable surface for safety and optimal performance.
Making Connections
Power and Video Connection
The monitor can be powered using the following configurations. Note: The DC IN port is for power only. For video signals, ensure connection via HDMI or Type C.
- Type-C Connector: Connect a device via USB Type-C. (Output power must be greater than 10W)
- Mini HDMI and Type-A Connector (Optional): Connect a device via Mini HDMI and USB Type-A. (Output power must be greater than 10W)
- Mini HDMI and Power Adapter (Optional): Connect a device via Mini HDMI and the external power adapter.
Note: For more information, refer to the "Power Delivery" section.
Power Delivery
Charging Notebook or Mobile Phone
If the supplied power adapter is connected to the monitor, it can charge a connected notebook or mobile phone.
Note: Power Delivery Output: DC 5V/9V/12V/15V/20V/Max 3A.
Power Detection
The product detects whether the power source is an adapter, laptop, or mobile phone.
- If the power source is an adapter or notebook, the default brightness is 100.
- If the power source is a mobile phone, the default brightness is 15.
- When using a mobile phone to power the monitor, the default brightness level is 15.
Note: Due to limited output power from mobile phones, do not set brightness higher, as it may cause flickering or shutdown.
Further Information
- The first connected device determines the primary input signal.
- If the Type-C port recognizes an external device as a power source, it will only supply power, not display an input signal.
- If one Type-C port is recognized as a power source, the other port can provide bidirectional power.
- Connecting a laptop first, then a phone, will not charge the phone's battery because no Type-C port recognizes the connection as a power source. Note: To display the phone's screen, disconnect the Type-C cable connected to the laptop.
- Connecting a phone first, then a laptop, will charge the phone's battery because one Type-C port is recognized as a power source. Note: To display the laptop's screen, disconnect the Type-C cable connected to the phone.
- Do not connect two laptops or a laptop and a desktop simultaneously. This can cause power distribution conflicts, resulting in screen flickering or forced shutdown.
- If a laptop has a Type-C port, connect it via the Type-C port.
- Do not connect the monitor's second Type-C port to another laptop or desktop via Type-A and HDMI simultaneously.
- If a laptop only has HDMI and Type-A ports, connect the monitor via HDMI and Type-A to Type-C.
- If the laptop's Type-A port output power does not exceed 10W, use the monitor's power adapter for connection.
- Do not connect the monitor's second Type-C port to another laptop or desktop simultaneously.

Information
Displays the computer's graphics card timing mode (video input signal), LCD model number, serial number, and ViewSonic website URL. Refer to your graphics card's user manual for instructions on changing resolution and refresh rate (vertical frequency).
Note: For example, VESA 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz indicates a resolution of 1024 x 768 and a refresh rate of 60Hz.
Input Select (Input Selection)
Allows switching between various input options available for the monitor.
Manual Image Adjust (Manual Image Adjustment)

- Memory Recall is the default configuration and setting upon delivery. Memory Recall qualifies the product for ENERGY STAR® compliance. Any changes to the default configuration and settings after delivery may alter energy consumption and increase energy usage beyond the limits required for ENERGY STAR® qualification. ENERGY STAR® is a set of energy-saving recommendations issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). ENERGY STAR® is a joint program of the U.S. EPA and the U.S. Department of Energy that helps save money and protect the environment by promoting energy-efficient products and practices.
