Product Overview and Controls

The Bytech BY-BE-118 features a pair of wireless earbuds connected by a cable. The inline remote control allows for easy management of music and calls.

Inline Controls:

• 1. Multifunction Button (MFB): Used to Answer/End calls, Play/Pause music, and turn the device ON/OFF.
• 2. Volume Up / Next Song: Press and hold to increase volume. Momentarily press to skip to the next track.
• 3. Volume Down / Previous Song: Press and hold to decrease volume. Momentarily press to go to the previous track.

Charging Your Headset

To charge the headset:

1. Connect the Micro-USB end of the charging cable to the headset's charging port.
2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a computer or a USB power adapter.
3. Charge for approximately 1-3 hours. The red indicator light will turn off when charging is complete.
4. Once charged, unplug the headset.

Pairing the Headset with a Device

Follow these steps to connect your headset to a compatible phone or device:

1. Ensure the headset is turned off.
2. Press and hold the Multifunction Button (MFB) for about 5-7 seconds. The indicator light will flash blue and red alternately, indicating it is in pairing mode.
3. Activate the Bluetooth feature on your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and set it to search for Bluetooth devices. Refer to your device's user guide for specific instructions.
4. The wireless headset will appear as "BY-BE-118" in the list of available devices. Select it to pair.
5. If the pairing is successful, the headset's blue indicator light will flash every 6 seconds.
6. If a passcode is requested, enter "0000". Once paired, the headset will automatically reconnect to your device without needing a password.

Power ON/OFF & Reconnecting

• Power ON: Press and hold the MFB until the blue indicator light blinks on and off.
• Power OFF: Press and hold the MFB until the red indicator light blinks on and off.
• Reconnecting: The headset will attempt to reconnect to the last paired device automatically when powered on.

Music and Call Operations

• Adjust Volume: Press and hold the '+' button to increase volume; press and hold the '-' button to decrease volume.
• Next Song: Momentarily press the '+' button.
• Previous Song: Momentarily press the '-' button.
• Pause/Play Song: Press the MFB key once while music is playing.
• Answer a Call: Press the MFB key once, or use your phone's answer function. Music will automatically pause during calls.
• End a Call: Press the MFB key once, or use your phone's end call function.
• Reject a Call: Press and hold the MFB key, or use your phone's reject call function.
• Redial Last Number: Press the Multifunction Button twice quickly.

Warranty Information

Bytech NY INC. warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser for a period of 12 months from the original purchase date. Bytech's responsibility under this limited warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, at its option, of any product that fails during normal consumer use.

This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation, or maintenance. If the product fails due to defects in material or workmanship within the 12-month period, return the defective product (freight prepaid) with proof of purchase. Please include $5.00 for return shipping and handling.
