When you first open the bag on your new screen tent, it may appear inside out. It is not inside out, but is designed to fold into a compact bag.

Setup Overview:

• Step 1: Take out the carrying bag.
• Step 2: Check the parts inside.
• Step 3: Remove the loose fabric wrapped around each of the hubs.
• Step 4: Stand shelter up on the center hub.
• Step 5: Hold one corner of the material and let the screen fall open until you see the roof lying flat.
• Step 6: Reach for the handle at the center of one wall and pull until the section pops out.
• Step 7: Continue around shelter repeating the previous step until all panels are erect.
• Step 8: Enter through the door and push up on the center ceiling hub until the ceiling pops up.
• Step 9: Now you are ready to enjoy a bug-free, shade-filled summer!

Safety Instructions

Please fully understand and follow all safety instructions outlined in this booklet. Failure to do so could result in severe injury or death.

• ⚠️ WARNING: Injury or death may result from fire if tent fabric is exposed to open flame.
• Do not use open flame heaters in your screen tent.
• Tent fabric is not fireproof. Fabric will melt when contact is made with hot surfaces (e.g., heaters, propane stoves, etc.).
• Use external tie-downs and stakes to protect the tent.

Set Up Instructions

IMPORTANT: Your screen tent comes pre-installed. The tent can be deployed by simply pulling outward on the hub pulls (rings) on the outside of the tent and pushing on the top hub.

Please follow the instructions carefully for proper set up and takedown.

1. Step 1: Unzip the storage bag completely and remove the shelter and other accessories. Confirm that the Carry Bag contains 11 ground nails, 5 wind ropes, 5 sidewalls, 2 door frame rods, and an instruction manual. (Note: The 5 sidewalls are only available to customers who purchase the classic with 5 sidewalls version).
2. Step 2: Pick the tent up directly from the carry bag and stand it on the center metal hub.
3. Step 3: With the screen tent standing on the black center hub, hold one corner of the material and let the screen fall open until you see the roof lying flat with the logo facing up. If it does not fall open naturally, unfold the tent until the roof panel is lying flat.
4. Step 4: Reach for the handle at the center of one wall and pull until the section pops out. Hold the roof line with the opposite hand.
5. Step 5: Continue around the shelter repeating the previous step until all wall panels are erect.
6. Step 6: Enter through the door and push up on the center ceiling hub until the ceiling pops up.
7. Step 7 (Optional): Insert the vertical rods on either side of the screen tent's door. Remove the Velcro retaining loop securing the pole to the adjacent wall. Once freed, install one end of the rod into the other's end to make it one long rod. Place the bottom of the rod in the pocket located at the bottom of the panel directly below where the rods are mounted. Secure the rod with the Velcro loop. Repeat on the other side. It is recommended to use these if any wind is present.

Notice: If you purchased a tent without sidewalls, please skip step 8 and go directly to step 9. If you purchased a tent with sidewalls, please follow the steps in sequence.

8. Step 8: Locate the hub strap on the center of the wall and pull it through the grommet on the sidewall. Find the Velcro on the wind shield and secure it with the Velcro tabs. Then find the hole in the middle of the sidewall, pass it through the pull tab, and secure the entire sidewall.
9. Step 9: Install securing stakes on the tent. The stakes are designed to be used on the inside grommets or the outside tie-downs. If there is little to no wind, stakes may be used in the eyelet in each corner of the screen tent. Place the tip of the stake on the inside of the eyelet and drive it into the ground so the hook catches the eyelet and holds the tent in place.

If wind is present, you must use the outside tie-downs. Secure the tent by tying one end of the provided strings on each metal loop on the outside of the hub and staking the other end. Using a tent in severe weather conditions might damage it. Therefore, if you encounter heavy wind and rain, you should store the tent.

Take Down Instructions

1. Step 1: Remove the two vertical rods on the sides of the door frame from the inside.
2. Step 2: From the outside of the tent, push in on the walls to collapse the wall panels. Continue doing this to all the wall panels until the tent is fully collapsed.
3. Step 3: Apply downward force on one of the roof poles until the roof collapses.
4. Step 4: After the shelter has completely collapsed, grasp one corner of the tent and fold it in half onto itself. Once it's folded, you can then compress the shelter to fit it into the carry bag.
5. Step 5: Carefully lift the collapsed tent and place it into the carry bag. Pay close attention to ensure the size of the two openings of the bag matches the size of the two ends of the tent. After that, place the stakes and tie-down ropes into their respective bag, and then put this bag into the carry bag.

Our screen tents are water-resistant, but not fully waterproof. For additional protection, you can apply any traditional tent waterproofing product. A common example is "Camp Dry", which is available at most sporting goods stores. While the seams of our tents are stitched with waterproof taping, you can further apply "Seam Grip" to the seams for extra protection if desired.

❓ How do I wash my screen tent?

We recommend using a gentle laundry soap, diluted with warm water, and a washcloth to spot clean any areas that need it. If needed, you can use a bleach and water solution (10 parts water to 1 part bleach) to eliminate any mildew smell.

❓ What should I do if the tent doesn't pop up correctly?

Check the setup instructions to ensure you're following them correctly. If there's any confusion, look for the instructional video we provided. If you're still having trouble, inspect each component.

❓ What should I do if the tent won't stand up stably and keeps swaying in the wind?

Make sure you've secured it with all stakes and ropes provided. If the ground is soft and stakes aren't holding, consider purchasing longer or specialty stakes designed for soft ground. Using additional ropes or weights can also add stability. Using a tent in severe weather conditions might damage it. Therefore, if you encounter heavy wind and rain, you should store the tent.

❓ What should I do if parts of my tent are torn or damaged?

If parts of your tent are torn or damaged, it could be due to improper use or aging of the materials. You can inspect all parts of the tent regularly so that any damage can be discovered and repaired promptly.

❓ What should I do if my tent stakes, ropes, or tent poles are lost or damaged?

If these parts of your tent are missing or damaged, you may need to purchase new ones. So please handle with care when using and storing tent parts to prevent loss or damage.

❓ What should I do if the tent is difficult to store?

Make sure to clean and dry your tent before storing it. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for folding and packing the tent. If it's still difficult, consider watching instructional videos online.

❓ What should I do if the top fabric or sidewalls are torn?

This may be due to improper use or aging of the material. You can repair it using specialized repair materials and adhesives. Follow the steps below:

1. Determine the material: Check the tent's label or user manual to find out what the tent is made of. This may be nylon, polyester or other materials.
2. Choose a repair material: For most nylon or polyester tents, you can use specialized tent repair patches. These patches are usually adhesive and stick directly to the hole.
3. Choose an adhesive: For areas that need to be bonded, such as tent poles or tears in the tent fabric, you can use special tent repair glue. This glue can usually be used for tents made of various materials.
4. Buy: You can find these products at outdoor sports stores, big box retailers, or online. Make sure to read the product descriptions to make sure they fit your specific tent.
5. Use: Follow product instructions. Generally speaking, the area to be repaired needs to be cleaned and dried before the repair material or adhesive is applied. It may take some time for the adhesive to dry and cure.
6. Test: After patching, be sure to perform a test to make sure the patching material or adhesive has successfully fixed the problem.

❓ What should I do if water accumulates inside the tent?

If water accumulates inside your tent, it may be because the tent is not set up correctly or the ground is sloped. Make sure the tent is set up flat and, if possible, choose a slightly sloping spot to allow rainwater to drain away.

❓ What should I do if my tent has mold or smell?

If your tent is moldy or smells, it may be because it was stored in wet or humid conditions. Make sure the tent is completely dry before storing and if it has become moldy, clean it with an appropriate cleaner and brush.

Warranty Information

This product is warrantied to the original retail purchaser (not transferable) to be free from manufacturer's defects for one (1) year from the date of the original purchase. Warranty does not cover screen tears, tent tears, or broken or bent poles due to high wind, weather conditions or unattended use.
