Important Safety Instructions

Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.

[WARNING] When using electric products, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Read all the instructions before using the product.
• Do not use this product near water — for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, or the like.
• This product, either alone or in combination with an amplifier and headphones or speakers, may be capable of producing sound levels that could cause permanent hearing loss. Do not operate for a long period of time at a high volume level or at a level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or ringing in the ears, you should consult an audiologist. • Do not use near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• The product should be connected to a power supply (not provided) only of the type described in the operating instructions and as marked on the product (output voltage of 9 V ===, 300 mA).
• Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.
• Radios and TVs placed nearby may experience reception interference. Operate this product at a suitable distance from radios and TVs.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the product has been damaged in any way, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the product, the product has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally or has been dropped.

Intended Use

• This product is intended for recording and playback of a single audio, overdub tracks from a guitar, electric or bass.
• This product is intended for private use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
• This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
• No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.

Product Description

The AmazonBasics SOS Guitar Loop Pedal features the following components:

• Indicator light
• Power socket
• LOOP LEVEL knob
• Input jack, 1/4" (6.35 mm)
• On/Off switch
• Output jack, 1/4" (6.35 mm)

The pedal is labeled "LOOPER" and includes the "amazonbasics" logo.

Operation

Before First Use

• Check the product for transport damages.
• Remove all the packing materials.
• Check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power adaptor's (not provided).

[DANGER] Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

Connecting to Power Supply

Adapter 9 V === (not provided):

1. Connect the adapter to the power socket.
2. Connect the adapter to a suitable outlet.

Switching On/Off

1. Connect the product to instrument and amplifier before switching it on.
2. Set the volume controls of the connected instrument/amplifier to the desired level.
3. Press the On/Off switch to switch the product on/off.
4. The indicator light switches on/off accordingly.
5. Turn the LOOP LEVEL knob to set the desired playback volume level.

Recording a Loop

1. Press the On/Off switch to start recording. The Indicator light lights up red.
2. Press the On/Off switch again to stop recording and switch to playback. The recorded audio plays in a continuous loop. The Indicator light lights up green and flashes once at the beginning of the loop.
3. The maximum loop time is 5 minutes.

NOTICE: Indicator light flashes red when running out of memory. The product automatically plays back from the beginning.

Overdubbing

1. During playback of a loop, press the On/Off switch. The Indicator light switches from green to red.
2. Record the overdub track.
3. Press the On/Off switch again to stop recording and switch to playback.
4. The product plays all the overdub recordings when in playback mode. The new overdubbed recording does not affect the length of the original loop, and the layers for overdubbing are unlimited.

Undoing and Redoing Loops

Undoing the Loop

1. Press and hold the On/Off switch longer than 1.5 seconds to undo the last recording. Only the last layer can be undone.
2. When undoing a loop, the Indicator light flashes quickly.

Redoing the Loop

1. Press and hold the On/Off switch again longer than 1.5 seconds to recover the recently deleted layer.
2. When recovering the layer, the Indicator light flashes quickly.

Stopping the Loop

1. Double press the On/Off switch to stop recording and playback and switch to standby mode.
2. The recorded layers are stored. The Indicator light flashes repeatedly.
3. Press the On/Off switch to restart the playback.

Erasing the Loop

1. In standby mode: Press and hold the On/Off switch.
2. In recording/playback mode: Double press and hold the On/Off switch.
3. The Indicator light goes off to indicate that there are no stored loop recordings available.

NOTICE: When disconnected from the power supply, the product automatically saves the last loop. When reconnected to power, the last loop is still available. The Indicator light lights up green and flashes. Press the On/Off switch to start the playback.

Care and Storage

[WARNING] Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug the product before cleaning.

[WARNING] Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.

Cleaning

• To clean the product, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

Storage

• Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away from children and pets.
