Installation Overview
The installation process involves several key steps:
- Initial preparation of the coffee machine, including removing specific covers and panels.
- Connecting the power cable and AC/DC converter to the machine's internal electronics and power relay.
- Wiring the flowmeters and current transformers (CTs) to the designated terminals on the main circuit board.
- Securely mounting the IoT device and the external AC/DC converter within the machine's chassis.
- Attaching the magnetic GPS antenna to the top-right section of the coffee machine.
Important Notes & Warnings
- Always ensure the coffee machine is powered off before commencing installation to prevent electrical hazards.
- Exercise caution when working with the 220V circuit, as it can cause severe electric shock.
- Be aware of potential polarity issues on single-phase grids that may affect the IoT device's reported status.
- The installed device complies with FCC Part 15 rules, designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference.
- If interference occurs, follow recommended measures such as reorienting antennas or increasing separation between devices.
- For FCC radiation exposure compliance, maintain a minimum distance of 20cm between the equipment's radiator and the user's body.
