CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- It is recommended to check the connection parts of the fan at least once a year, such as the cross pin, blade bracket, ceiling plate, connecting screws, and fan blades, to ensure that the product connection is still safe and reliable. (The shelf life of the fan blades is two years. Please replace them after two years.)
- Regularly clean the ceiling fan to keep the surface clean and bright. When removing surface dust, please use a soft brush or cloth to avoid damaging the surface. When removing oil stains or deposits, you can wipe them with a slightly damp cloth, but do not rinse with water.
- Please do not add lubricating oil to the ceiling fan motor, as the motor bearings come with lubricating oil.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Common issues to check for troubleshooting the fan include:
- Check if the fuse in the external power supply line is blown or if the automatic protection switch is tripped, which may cause a short circuit and prevent the fan from starting.
- Check if the voltage is significantly lower than the rated voltage of the fan (the fan requires a voltage above 176V to start).
- Check if there is any loose or poor contact in the internal wiring of the fan.
Note: If the above three checks fail to identify the problem, please contact a professional repair person for assistance.
To ensure the fan works properly, please also:
- Avoid severe impact on the fan during installation.
- Ensure that the fan blades and blade brackets are securely installed without any looseness.
- Ensure that the ceiling plate and downrod are correctly installed, and do not remove the shock-absorbing rubber on the ceiling plate.
- Allow a 24-hour trial period for new fans, during which most of the noise should disappear.
- Avoid installing the fan on wooden ceilings, steel structures, or prefabricated panels, as this may amplify the noise.
- Check if the connection wires of the light kit are loose.
- Check if the light switch is damaged, if the wire ends are loose, or if there is poor contact at the wire terminals.
- Check if the replaceable light bulb is burnt out.
