Offer maximum performance in open air environments, using water and UV resistant materials. Available in 6.5" & 8" coaxial models.

Enclosure Construction: Centrex material (USA), resilient to extreme temperatures, chemicals, & weathering. UV inhibitor blended for sunlight resistance.
Mounting clamps are cast aluminum, adjustable to 2.5" diameter, and can rotate 360°. Included rubber inserts accommodate most round or oval towers/roll cages.
Speaker Characteristics: Waterproof materials including blended polypropylene-mica cones, titanium dome tweeter, and rubber gaskets. Neoprene gasket under speaker frame prevents moisture. Stainless steel mesh over tweeter.
Available Options: Gloss white and black finishes, optional bright white or RGB LED grill rings, and a rear mounted high intensity LED spot light.

Rear-seat entertainment systems with MobileLink open full mirroring between smartphones and tablets. Safely share your own movies, social networking content, internet videos, or all other content on your mobile device with passengers. Requires MHL HDMI interface cable, sold separate.

DVD Playback

Soundstream rear-seat entertainment systems with DVD drives playback traditional DVD movies as well as MP4 and Xvid/Divx video files from DVD-R discs. All rear-seat entertainment system DVD drives are rated car-spec for exposure to extreme temperatures and vibration.

HDMI Input

Select rear-seat entertainment systems include an HDMI input. Use this high-definition connection to transmit audio & video playback from external multimedia sources, like gaming consoles or high-definition media players, to headrest or ceiling-mounted LCDs.

USB & SD Card Playback

Select Soundstream rear-seat entertainment systems feature USB ports and/or SD memory card slots. Playback MP4 Xvid/Divx videos from a USB flash drive or SD card. Playback resolution compatibility & maximum capacity limitations will vary for each product.

FM Stereo Transmitter

Select ceiling mounted & seat headrest rear-seat entertainment products include a multi-channel low energy FM radio transmitter. With it, the car's receiver can be tuned to pick-up the video's audio track & play throughout the car audio system.

RCA Audio & Video Outputs

All Soundstream rear-seat entertainment products with DVD playback include RCA audio & composite video outputs. Use these connections to integrate other display devices throughout the vehicle, like driver and passenger headrest LCDs.

Infrared Wireless Audio Transmitters

Soundstream ceiling-mounted & seat headrest rear-seat entertainment products have infrared wireless audio transmitters built-in. Match available single or dual channel wireless headphones to the entertainment device for distraction-free listening.

RCA Audio & Video Inputs

Select Soundstream rear-seat entertainment products include RCA audio & composite video inputs. Use these connections to transmit audio & video playback from external multimedia sources, like gaming consoles, to headrest or ceiling-mounted LCDs.

A capacitive touch panel with SmartSense sophisticated sensors pinpoint the location of your finger by absorbing the conductivity on the surface of your skin. Crystal-clear glass surface improves image quality, enhancing the viewing experience.

Resistive Touch Panels

Glare-resistant resistive touch panels use traditional physical connections between conductive polycarbonate membranes to execute control commands.

Camera Inputs

All Soundstream multimedia source units feature a composite RCA input for a universal back-up camera, making the vehicle's blind spot(s) visible. Select products include an on-screen distance gauge, showing an estimated distance to objects. Several source units also include a front-facing camera input, a great aide while performing parking maneuvers.

RGB Illumination

Offering 7 color combinations, the RGB feature allows the user to customize the color illumination for buttons and other faceplate accents. Match the receiver's illumination to the vehicle's interior lighting, or create a color to fit any mood.

Steering Wheel Remote Control

All Soundstream multimedia source units feature steering wheel remote control receiver. While select units include a dedicated single wire connection for 3rd-party interfacing modules, most have a typical 3-wire system. The 3-wire system allows manual programming of the SWC receiver directly to the vehicle, without the need of a 3rd-party interface.

Amplifier Output

Each Soundstream head unit features a Class A/B integrated circuit audio amplifier built-in. It's 75 watts peak power is sufficient for most factory car speakers. Sound staging options include balance, fade, and a bass & treble level adjustment.
