- Plug the power cord into an easily accessible power outlet, preferably close to the system. To disconnect system power, ensure you remove the power cord from the power outlet.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands, as this may cause electric shock.
- Protect the power cord from being stepped on or crushed, especially the plug.
- Do not place the product on vibrating surfaces to avoid damaging internal components.
- Operating temperature range: 5~35°C.
- Do not place the product near any heat sources, such as electric heaters, stoves, or other heat-emitting equipment (including amplifiers).
- The slots or openings on this product are for ventilation to ensure stable operation and prevent overheating. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings with any object.
- Never insert any object through the chassis slots into this product, as they may contact dangerous voltage points or short circuits, potentially causing fire or electric shock. Do not spill any liquid onto or into the product.
- Do not use the product near water, beverages, or liquids. Do not expose the device to rain, liquids, or moisture. This could result in electric shock or property damage. The product is not waterproof or oil-proof.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth.

Chapter 2 BIOS Configuration
Entering the BIOS Setup Utility
To enter the BIOS setup utility, after powering on the computer, during the POST process, press the <Delete> key to enter the main BIOS setup screen. The CMOS data is powered by the lithium battery on the motherboard. Therefore, this data is not lost when the system power is turned off. When the power is turned on again, the system can read this setup data.
Boot Screen
After powering on, you will see the boot logo screen as follows:
Diagram of the GIGABYTE boot logo screen.
Function Key Descriptions:
- <DEL>: BIOS SETUP\Q-FLASH
Press the <Delete> key to enter the BIOS setup utility main screen, or to enter Q-Flash via the BIOS setup utility. - <F12>: BOOT MENU
The Boot Menu function allows you to set the preferred boot device without entering the BIOS setup utility. Use the <Up> or <Down> arrow keys to select the desired boot device, then press the <Enter> key to confirm. The system will boot directly from the selected device. Note: Settings made in this screen are only for the current boot. After restarting, the system will revert to the boot order set in the BIOS setup utility. - <END>: Q-FLASH
Press the <End> key to directly enter Q-Flash without entering the BIOS setup utility.
Warning:
- Updating the BIOS carries potential risks. If you are not experiencing any problems with the current version of the BIOS, it is recommended that you do not update it arbitrarily. If you need to update the BIOS, please proceed with caution to avoid system damage due to improper operation.
- It is not recommended to change BIOS setup utility settings arbitrarily, as this may cause system instability or other unpredictable results. If system instability or failure to boot occurs due to incorrect settings, try clearing the CMOS settings to restore the BIOS to factory default settings (refer to the description of "Load Optimized Defaults" for clearing CMOS settings).
Chapter 3 Appendix
3-1 How to Perform Q-Flash Plus
A. Before starting Q-Flash Plus, please follow the steps below in order:
- Please visit the GIGABYTE website to download the latest BIOS version compressed file for your product model.
- Unzip the downloaded BIOS compressed file and save the BIOS file to a USB flash drive, renaming it to "GIGABYTE.bin". (Note: The USB flash drive used must be formatted with the FAT32 file system.)
- Connect the 12V power connector and the main power connector (if there are two 12V power connectors, choose one) to perform Q-Flash Plus.
- Turn on the power supply unit, then connect the USB flash drive to the Q-Flash Plus port on the rear of the motherboard.
B. Performing Q-Flash Plus
After pressing the Q-Flash Plus button, the system will automatically search for and compare the BIOS file connected to the Q-Flash Plus port. The QFLED will start flashing (indicating that the comparison and update process has begun). After approximately 6-8 minutes, when the light stops flashing, the BIOS update is complete.
Diagram showing the Q-Flash Plus port and QFLED indicator on the motherboard.
- Before executing Q-Flash Plus, ensure the system is in shutdown state (S5 standby mode).
- If the motherboard is equipped with a BIOS switch and SB switch, please reset them to their default values before executing Q-Flash Plus (BIOS_SW: Boot from Main BIOS, SB: Dual BIOS).
- After the main BIOS update is complete, when the system restarts, it will perform a backup BIOS update using DualBIOS™, and then restart again to boot normally from the main BIOS.
3-2 Operating System Installation
Operating system installation varies depending on the specifications at the time of purchase, divided into verification code and OA3.0.
- Verification Code:
Follow the reminder label on the chassis, remove all protective materials, correctly connect the power and other interface devices, and press the system power button. The Windows Out-Of-Box Experience (OOBE) screen will appear. When the screen appears, please enter your Microsoft account login (if you do not have a Microsoft account, you can choose to "Create a new account"). Next, simply follow the on-screen prompts to complete the basic OOBE setup. Once this process is complete, it will automatically enter the Windows 11 desktop. - For regions in the United States and Canada, please note: On the upper left side of the back of the chassis, there is a system verification code (as shown in the figure below). You must provide this verification code for repair purposes. Please keep it safe and consider backing it up by taking a photo, for future reference.
Diagram indicating the location of the verification code.
- Before installation, please ensure the system is connected to the internet.
- OA3.0:
First Boot

System Restore (Repair Your Operating System)
If the operating system becomes unstable, there is a hidden partition on the storage device that contains a complete backup image of the operating system. This can be used to restore the operating system to its factory default settings.
Warning:
- If the storage device has been replaced or the hidden partition has been deleted, the restore function will not be available and the system must be sent to a service center for restoration.
- The factory default restore function is only available when the operating system is pre-installed. It is not available for EFISHELL systems.
Starting System Restore
The system restore function is pre-installed on the desktop computer at the factory. This option can launch the Windows recovery tool to reinstall the operating system to its factory default settings. The following is a brief guide on how to launch the restore tool and start the system restore.

- Smart Recovery: The computer's settings will be restored to factory defaults. (Note! All personal data and files will be lost.)
Step 4: Enter the system reset mode. The toolbar will display restore options. If you are sure you want to restore the system, click "Yes" to proceed.
Warning:
- After selecting restore, all original personal data and files will be deleted, and the system and storage device will be restored to factory default settings.
- Do not turn off the power while the restore window is open and the system restore is in progress.
After the system restore is complete, the toolbar will display an option. Click "Shutdown" to turn off the computer.
