Usual Fault & Measure
FAULT | REASON | MEASURE |
---|---|---|
The pump can not start up | Poor wire contact | Reconnect |
Broken wire | Replace the wire | |
Impeller stuck | Disassemble the pump body to clean up debris | |
Motor fault | Repair or replace the motor | |
The pump is working, but no pressure | The main tap is closed | Open the main tap |
The air inside the system or pipeline | Let the water through some time and pump exhausting. | |
Noise | Foreign substance inside | Disassemble and clean the water pump |
The air inside the system or pipeline | Let the water through some time and pump exhausting. | |
Air-causticity | In the allowed arrangement, add the system pressure if necessary to decrease the speed. |
WARNING:
- For maintenance, close the two-end taps and let the pump cool down to avoid scalding from steam or hot liquid.
- Cut off the power supply.
- Only expert staff should install or perform maintenance.
- If problems persist, contact your local dealer or VEVOR.
Pump Exhaust
1. Exhaust the pump before use.
2. If the pump works for hot water circulation for a week, exhaust it once per week.
Exhaustion methods:
Cut off the power, close the outer tap, slowly twist the exhausting screw, and use a screwdriver to turn the pump shaft for 15-30 seconds. Some liquid will come out. Tighten the screw after exhaustion.
Diagram: Shows an exhausting screw on a water basin.
WARNING:
To avoid being scalded by steam or hot water during exhausting, do not face the vent directly.
Main Use
The shielded pipeline pump is suitable for floor heating systems, water separators, water collectors, boilers, water-cooled air-conditioning systems, center air conditioning systems, and water supply for washing machines with low pressure. It can also increase flux and pressure for tap water and circulate liquid for industrial equipment. Parts of the pump body are made of copper or stainless steel for sanitary household water use.
Main Features
- The pump features a stainless steel shielding set that keeps water away from electrical machinery. It does not require a mechanical seal, preventing leaks. The ceramic bearing, stainless steel shaft, and friction/corrosion resistance allow for automatic water circulation, motor cooling, and lubrication. The motor will not be damaged even under high head working conditions. With proper maintenance, it can last for three years.
- The product includes a timer, allowing users to set operating periods.
- The pump operates with very low noise, making it ideal for indoor installations where noise reduction is important.
- Internal motor materials are heat-resistant, making it suitable for hot-water circulation booster systems.
Working Condition
- Medium transportation temperature: 2°C - +95°C
- Max circumstance temperature: +40°C
- Medium condition: clean, no solid substance, mineral & oil substance, or stickiness.
- Chemical condition: near neutral, non-corrosive, non-explosive water (glycol max-content: 30%).
- For other liquids, consult the factory.
- Max working pressure: 3 bar
- Min. inlet pressure:
- At +50°C: 0.05 bar
- At +95°C: 0.3 bar
The specifications are suitable for altitudes up to 300m; for altitudes over 300m, add 0.01 bar per 100m. Maintain minimum pressure to avoid air-causticity and noise.
The pump must operate within a rated voltage range of ±10%. Low voltage may result in low speed, difficulty starting, overheating, and reduced head and pressure.
Product Accessories
- Electric pump
- Water pipe sealing tape * 1
- DN20 to DN15 internal connector * 2
- DN15x50cm bellows * 2
Special Warning
The pump must be reliably earth-grounded before use. Do not alter the three-core plug to prevent electrical leakage. Install safety measures like a residual current device (RCD) or surge protector.
1. Earth wiring and neutral wiring must be separated. Ensure reliable earth wiring to prevent accidents. The plug has 'L' for Live Wiring, 'N' for Neutral Wiring, and the longest pin 'E' for Earth touch wiring. Ensure correct connection in the socket. Never connect neutral and earth wiring together, as this can cause dangerous leakage.
Diagram: Illustrates E-type pump earth touch wiring with L, N, and E connections.
2. Do not cover the motor or pumps with a blanket. Ensure ventilation to prevent fire hazards.
3. If installing outdoors, take protective measures against sun and rain to prolong lifespan and prevent electric shock. If installing indoors, avoid water spills and do not install in bathrooms to prevent water and cream ingress.
4. If unusual motor noise occurs after years of use, replace internal shield components promptly to prevent electric shock hazards from water leakage.
Precaution
- When connecting to power, run the pump for a few seconds to check for normal startup. Do not run the pump dry for extended periods, as this can damage the ceramic bearing. Pay special attention to prevent sudden water shortages with self-auto water pumps.
- Be mindful of water drips on wooden floors or moisture-sensitive items during air bleeding or maintenance.
- Avoid touching hot surfaces to prevent scalding when the pump is used in a heating system. Wiring materials must be heat-resistant.
- Before installation, ensure pipelines are well-welded and clean. Foreign substances, welding slag, or dirt can damage the pump.
- Clean the filter screen monthly.
- Install the pump in a location convenient for maintenance and replacement.
- It is recommended to install a check valve separately at the inlet or outlet for easier maintenance and to prevent leaking water from reaching the pump or junction box.
- The current flow direction should match the arrow on the pump.
- If the junction box orientation is incorrect, loosen the hex screw, reposition the motor, and retighten the screw, ensuring the rubber gasket is not damaged and the seal is intact.
Timer Operation Instructions
This is a 24-hour programmable timer with 15-minute intervals and 48 on/off cycles daily, ideal for home security and energy-saving applications.
Steps:
- Set the current time: Rotate the dial clockwise to align the arrow with the current time (e.g., 9:00 AM).
- Set the program: Push segments outwards for operation. Each segment represents 15 minutes. (e.g., to run from 10:15 to 11:00, push three segments outwards between these times).
- Set the switch to the ' ' position.
- When the electric pump is powered on, the programmed functions will operate.
Diagrams: Show 'Present time Dial', 'Program', and 'Switch' settings.
Notes:
- The program will repeat daily unless changed.
- If power is lost, reset the current time when reusing.
- Do not disassemble the timer.
- Switch positions: 'I' = Permanently ON; ' ' = Programmed operation; 'O' = Permanently OFF.
- For indoor use only.
