1. Bluetooth Pairing Mode

Short press the Home button to connect. In shutdown status, long press the Home button for 3 seconds to enter the Bluetooth pairing mode; the light flashes. If pairing is unsuccessful, it goes to sleep mode in 2 minutes.

The controller automatically identifies the Switch host; the light is always on after successful connection (indicated by 4 channel lights).

Bluetooth mode can be used to connect to Switch or PC. Streaming and body feeling features are available.

  • Android mode: Press the "A" button + Home button to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. 2 lights will flash, and the light will remain on after a successful connection.
  • iOS mode: Press the "Y" button + Home button to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. 3 lights will flash, and the light will remain on after a successful connection. (Note: Requires the XOBX protocol).

Note: After all Bluetooth modes are successfully connected (including re-connecting), the controller provides a short vibration to indicate a successful connection.

2. Receiver Mode

Press and hold the Home button for 3 seconds to enter receiver pairing mode (light blinking). The controller automatically recognizes Android, Switch Pro, and PC when connected. The first light will be on, and the controller will vibrate briefly.

The receiver LED flashes when connecting and stays on when the controller is connected.

When entering receiver Xinput mode, the light flashes. After successful connection, 4 lights are always on, and the controller vibrates briefly.

You can switch between X-INPUT and D-INPUT modes by simultaneously long-pressing the '+' and '-' keys for 3 seconds. The conversion is indicated by the 4 lights flashing 2 lights. A short vibration confirms a successful switch.

3. Back-connect Mode

If the SWITCH host is in sleep mode (not in flight mode), a short press on the Home button will wake up the host and automatically connect to its paired host (indicated by a slow flashing LED). After 1 minute of unsuccessful reconnection, the controller will automatically sleep. (Other buttons do not wake up the controller.)

4. Automatic hibernation

When the Switch host screen is off, the controller will automatically hibernate.

If no button is pressed within 5 minutes, the controller will automatically sleep (this includes periods where the sensor does not detect movement). (The time can be adjusted according to demand).

Long press the Home button for 5 seconds to shut down, disconnect from the host, and hibernate the controller. (The time can be adjusted according to demand).

5. Charging Indication

When the controller is off: the corresponding power light flashes while charging and is off when fully charged.

When the controller is on: the current channel indicator flashes while charging and is always on when fully charged.

Battery low voltage alarm: The current channel indicator flashes fast.

6. Low Voltage Alarm

If the lithium battery voltage is lower than 3.55V ±0.1V, the red light flashes fast to indicate low voltage. (Voltage can be adjusted according to demand).

If the lithium battery voltage is lower than 3.45V ±0.1V, it will automatically sleep. (Voltage can be adjusted according to demand).

7. USB Wired Mode

The controller automatically recognizes Switch, PC, and Android platforms.

The PC platform is automatically identified as X-INPUT mode by default. You can switch between X-INPUT and D-INPUT modes by simultaneously long-pressing the '+' and '-' keys for 3 seconds; the controller will vibrate upon connection.

Automatic recognition of Switch and Android platforms results in a short vibration from the controller.

8. Controller Hardware Reset

The hardware reset button is located on the back of the controller.

9. Turbo and AUTO TURBO

Any Mode:

  • Set Turbo Function: Press (for the first time) any button (A/B/X/Y/L1/L2/L3/R1/R2/R3) + the Turbo button. The controller will provide a short vibration.
  • Set AUTO TURBO Function: Press (for the second time) any button (A/B/X/Y/L1/L2/L3/R1/R2/R3) + the Turbo button. The controller will provide a short vibration. (For example, after setting the 'A' button for AUTO TURBO, press 'A' again to activate AUTO TURBO, and press 'A' once more to deactivate it).
  • Clear Turbo Function: Press (for the third time) any button (A/B/X/Y/L1/L2/L3/R1/R2/R3) + the Turbo button to clear the Turbo function for the single button you selected.

Turbo speed is 12 times/sec.

To clear the Turbo function for all buttons, press and hold the Turbo button for more than 3 seconds, then press the minus key. The LED will resume the current mode indicator.

Adjust Turbo Speed: Press and hold Turbo, then use the right stick (up and down) to control the adjustment. There are three gears: 20 times/second, 12 times/second, and 5 times/second. The default speed is 12 times/second, and it records the user's last adjustment.

10. Vibration Adjustment

Combination Operation: Firstly, press and hold the Turbo key, then press the plus (+) key to increase intensity or the minus (-) key to decrease intensity. The levels are 20%, 40%, 70%, 100%, 0%.

The default value is 70%. It records the user's last adjustment. Corresponding intensity will vibrate differently when the vibration is adjusted.

Basic Setting

1. How to connect with Switch/Switch Lite console?

Navigate to the "Controller" menu on your Nintendo Switch/Switch Lite.

Select the "Change Grip/Order" sub-menu.

On the controller, press and hold the Home button until the blue indicator light flashes.

Press the L and R buttons on the controller.

Press the A button when the console prompts you to confirm.

Note: Two players are also supported by repeating the connection process.

To turn off the controller, press the Home button.

The controller is now connected!

2. How to wake up the Switch?

To wake the Nintendo Switch from sleep mode, press and hold the Home button on the controller. The controller will immediately register as controller number one.

3. How to set Turbo and Auto Turbo function?

To set a button for Turbo function: Hold down the Turbo button and press any desired button (e.g., Y). The button will now repeatedly press when held down.

To set a button for AUTO TURBO function: Perform the previous step again (hold Turbo and press the same button). The button will now continuously activate without needing to be held.

To return the button to its normal function: Perform the step a third time (hold Turbo and press the button again).

4. How to adjust vibration?

To decrease vibration intensity: Press and hold the Turbo button, then press the minus (-) button. Levels: 20%, 40%, 70%, 100%, 0%.

To increase vibration intensity: Press and hold the Turbo button, then press the plus (+) button.

Default vibration is 70%. The controller records your last adjustment.

5. How to pair it with your mobile device?

  1. Turn on your mobile device's Bluetooth.
  2. While your mobile device is in pairing mode, briefly hold down the Home button on the controller. Simultaneously, hold either the A button (for Android) or the Y button (for iOS).
  3. On your mobile device, select "Xbox wireless controller" to connect.

The controller is now successfully connected.

6. How to swap the A/B/X/Y buttons?

To swap button bindings to match typical Xbox controller placement, hold down the A, X, B, and Y buttons together.

7. How to pair it with your Windows PC?

(Optional: Requires a Bluetooth adapter, available for purchase on the Exlene website.)

  1. Plug the Bluetooth dongle into your PC.
  2. Press the pairing button on the dongle.
  3. While the dongle is pairing, press and hold the Home button on your controller.

When the dongle's indicator is blue and the controller's indicator is blue, the connection to the PC is successful.
