Basic U-Prox PIR Settings
Select the device from the list that needs to be configured:
- “Name” – device name.
- “Group” – selection of the security group to which the device belongs. A security group is a logical set of premises zones being protected (e.g., room, apartment, garage, building floor, etc.), the minimal unit of security. A security group allows simultaneous control of all zones. Security groups are independent; a user can control and view only those security groups, devices, and events to which they have access.
- “Sensitivity” – setting the motion detection range. Low – about 6 meters, Medium – about 8 meters, High – about 12 meters.
- “Light Indication” – enable or disable the device's light indication.
- “Temperature Limit Notifications” – if the temperature exceeds the specified limits, the device will generate corresponding events – “Cooling” and “Overheating”. Can be used in scenarios.
- “Installation” (zone type) – device operating modes depending on the type of use:
- “With delay”, or “Entry zone”:
- If the system is armed, activation of the detector starts the entry delay countdown. If the system is not disarmed within the delay period, the system enters the “Alarm” state and sends an alarm notification.
- When arming, the exit delay countdown will begin, after which the system will be armed.
- “No delay”:
- If the system is armed, detector activation causes the system to enter the “Alarm” state and send an alarm notification.
- If the system is not armed, the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- “Corridor”:
- If the system is armed and there is no entry delay, or the delay has expired, the system enters the “Alarm” state and sends an alarm notification.
- If the system is armed and there is an entry delay, the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- If the system is not armed and there is an exit delay, the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- If the system is not armed, the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- “Internal corridor”:
- If the system is armed and there is no entry delay, or the delay has expired, the system enters the “Alarm” state and sends an alarm notification.
- If the system is armed and there is an entry delay, the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- If the system is not armed and there is an exit delay, the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- If the system is armed in “Perimeter” mode (“Stay” or “Night” mode), the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- If the system is not armed, the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- “Internal zone”:
- If the system is armed, detector activation causes the system to enter the “Alarm” state and send an alarm notification.
- If the system is armed in “Perimeter” mode (“Stay” or “Night” mode), the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- If the system is not armed, the system does not react to detector activation of this type.
- “24-hour zone” (all-day):
- Detector activation causes the system to enter the “Alarm” state and send an alarm notification regardless of the system's operating mode.
- “With delay”, or “Entry zone”:
- “Entry delay” (only for “With delay” installation type). Time to disarm the security system after entering the premises.
- “Exit delay” (only for “With delay” installation type). Time to exit the premises after arming the security system (arming the system).
- “Entry delay in 'Stay mode'” (only for “With delay” installation type). Time to disarm the security system after entering the premises (arming in “Stay” or “Night” mode).
- “Exit delay in 'Stay mode'” (only for “With delay” installation type). Time to exit the premises after arming the security system in “Perimeter” mode (arming in “Stay” or “Night” mode).
- “Intelligent alarm recognition”. Enabling this setting combines detectors of the U-Prox PIR, U-Prox PIR, U-Prox PIR Combi, U-Prox PIR Combi VB, U-Prox PIR Outdoor groups into a single “intelligent zone” with alarm confirmation. When one of the detectors in the intelligent zone is triggered, a default 20-second delay starts. If during this time an “Alarm” state occurs for any detector in this group, or a repeated “Alarm” state occurs for the same detector, or the detector remains in the “Alarm” state until the intelligent zone delay expires – an alarm signal will be sent to the security company.
- “Arming with a triggered detector” – forced arming of the detector, even if it is triggered.
- “Forced arming after exit delay” – if the detector does not recover after the exit delay countdown, the system enters the “Alarm” state and sends an alarm notification.
- “Forced arming upon detector recovery” – the system waits for the detector to recover and sets it to the “Armed” mode.
