The product is guaranteed against defects in workmanship and parts for 36 months from the date of purchase. Defects occurring under normal use and care will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at Stirling's discretion. This warranty is in addition to rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar laws. Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not major.

This manual accompanies the air circulation fan and contains important setup and handling information. Read it carefully, especially the safety instructions, to avoid personal injury or product damage. Store the manual for future use and include it when passing the product to third parties.

The product is designed exclusively for ventilating dry rooms and is intended for private use only. It is not suitable for commercial purposes. Use only as described in this manual; any other use is improper and may result in damage or injury. The manufacturer or vendor is not liable for damages or injury from improper use.

  • Do not open the housing. Repairs must be performed by qualified professionals. Unauthorized repairs waive liability and warranty claims.

  • Do not use with external timers or separate remote control systems.
  • Do not immerse the product, mains cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands.
  • Always pull the plug itself, not the cord, to disconnect from the socket.
  • Never move, pull, or carry the product by its mains cord.
  • Keep the product and mains cord away from open flames and hot surfaces.
  • Lay the mains cord to prevent tripping hazards.
  • Do not kink the mains cord or lay it over sharp edges.
  • Use the product indoors only. Do not use in damp rooms or in the rain.
  • Do not place the product where it could fall into a tub or sink.
  • Never reach for an electrical device that has fallen into water; immediately disconnect the mains plug.
  • Never insert objects into the housing.
  • Always switch off and unplug the product when not in use, when cleaning, or in case of malfunction.

The product can be used by such persons if supervised by a responsible adult who ensures they understand the risks. Children should be supervised to prevent them from playing with the product. Cleaning and maintenance must not be done by children. Keep children away from the product and mains cord. Do not leave unattended while in use. Ensure children do not play with plastic wrapping, as it can cause suffocation.
  • ! CAUTION!: Risk of injury! Improper handling may result in injury. Never operate without the protective grill. Do not insert fingers, limbs, or objects through the grill. Ensure no objects (ties, scarves, long hair) become entangled in the propeller. Keep pets away from the product.
  • NOTICE!: Risk of damage! Improper handling may damage the product. Place on an accessible, level, dry, and stable surface, not on an edge. Never place on or near hot surfaces. Ensure the mains cord does not contact hot parts. Do not expose to high temperatures or weather. Never fill with liquid. Do not clean by immersing in water or using a steam cleaner.
  • Stop using the product if plastic parts are cracked, broken, or deformed. Replace damaged parts only with original spare parts.

Battery notes

  • ! WARNING!: Health hazard! Swallowing batteries poses a high health and choking hazard. Keep batteries away from children.
  • The remote control contains a CR2025, 3V coin/button cell battery. Swallowing can cause severe internal burns in 2 hours and can be fatal. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to have been swallowed or placed inside the body.
  • Store batteries away from children and animals.
  • Dispose of used or leaky batteries according to applicable guidelines.
  • Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
  • ! WARNING!: Risk of explosion! Improper battery handling increases explosion hazard. Do not expose to excessive heat. Replace only with the same battery type. Ensure correct polarity (+ side up). Do not throw batteries in fire. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Do not short-circuit terminals.

First Use

Checking the product and package contents

NOTICE!: Risk of damage! Be cautious when opening the packaging with sharp objects to avoid damaging the product.

  1. Take the product out of the packaging.
  2. Check that all parts are included (refer to Figures A and B).
  3. Check for any damage to the product or its parts. If damaged, do not use and contact the manufacturer via the service address on the warranty card.

Positioning the product

  1. Ensure the product is placed on a firm, even, and vibration-free surface. Allow for free air circulation in front of and behind the unit. Use the handle (2) to move the product.
  2. Insert the mains plug (3) into a properly installed socket. A beep sound indicates the product is connected and ready for use.

Using the remote control for the first time

  • Remove the insulating strip from the battery tray (16) of the remote control (15) before first use.
  • To replace the battery, refer to the "Changing the battery" chapter.

Operation

  • All operations can be performed via the touch-sensitive control panel (4) or the remote control (15). A beep sound confirms button presses.

Switching on or off

Press the on/off button [power] (9) to switch the product on or off.

Speed selection

Press the speed button [speed] (8) repeatedly to select an operation speed (1-4, where 1 is lowest and 4 is highest). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate on the speed setting display (14).

Oscillation function

  • Press the horizontal oscillation button [horizontal oscillation] (11) for horizontal oscillation. Press again to cancel.
  • Press the vertical oscillation button [vertical oscillation] (6) for vertical oscillation. Press again to cancel.
  • Both horizontal and vertical oscillation functions can be used simultaneously.

Mode selection

  1. Press the mode button [mode] (10) once for Natural Breeze mode. The operation speed will vary between maximum and minimum, determined by the selected speed setting. The natural breeze display light (12) will illuminate.
  2. Press the mode button [mode] (10) a second time for Sleep Breeze mode. The fan operates like Natural Breeze but gradually decreases speed every 30 minutes until the lowest speed is reached. The sleep breeze display light (13) will illuminate.
  3. Press the mode button [mode] (10) a third time to cancel all mode selections. Both natural and sleep breeze display lights will turn off.

Timer function

The timer function allows setting the duration the product remains on (max. 7.5 hours).

  1. Press the timer button [timer] (7) to select a duration from 0.5 to 7.5 hours. Indicator lights on the timer display (5) will illuminate. Multiple lights may illuminate to indicate combined durations (e.g., 0.5h, 1h, and 2h lights indicate 3.5 hours).
  2. To cancel the timer function, press the timer button [timer] (7) until all indicator lights in the timer display are off.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning the product

  • ! WARNING!: Risk of electric shock! Improper use can lead to electric shock. Always unplug the mains plug before cleaning. Never dismantle the product for cleaning.
  • NOTICE!: Risk of short circuit! Liquids penetrating the housing can cause a short circuit. Ensure no water or liquids enter the housing. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
  • NOTICE!: Risk of damage! Improper handling may result in damage. Do not use aggressive cleaners, metal/nylon brushes, or sharp/metallic cleaning utensils, as they can damage surfaces.
  1. Switch off and unplug the product before cleaning.
  2. Dust the protective grill (1) with a soft brush or use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment.
  3. Wipe the housing and remote control (15) with a slightly moist cloth. Allow all parts to dry completely.

Changing the battery

  • ! WARNING!: Choking hazard! Batteries are small objects. Swallowing poses a high health and choking hazard. Keep batteries out of reach of children. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to have been swallowed.
  • If the remote control (15) is unresponsive, the battery may be low or empty. Replace the battery (Type: CR2025) as follows:
    1. Turn the remote control over.
    2. Pull the battery tray (16) out by pushing the tab to the right (see Figure C, step 1).
    3. Remove the old battery from the tray and dispose of it according to regulations.
    4. Insert a new battery of the same type, ensuring the polarity ('+' side facing up) is correct (see Figure C, step 2).
    5. Slide the battery tray back into the remote control until it locks into place (see Figure C, step 2).

Storage

! CAUTION!: Risk associated with leaked battery fluid and risk of damage! Storing the product with a battery inserted for prolonged periods may cause the battery to leak and damage the product. Battery fluid is corrosive.

  • If not using the product for a prolonged period, remove the battery from the remote control and store it separately.
  • Do not handle battery fluid with bare hands. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or mucus membranes. Use household washing gloves. If contact occurs, wash hands immediately and consult a physician.
  • Wipe leaked battery fluid with a damp cloth. The cloth can be washed and reused or disposed of with household waste.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing.
  • Always store the product in a dry area.
  • Protect the product from direct sunlight.
  • Store the product so it is inaccessible to children.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As the end user, you are legally required to return all batteries and rechargeable batteries to a collection point run by the city or county, or to a retailer, for environmentally friendly disposal. This applies regardless of whether they contain harmful substances (labeled with: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead).

Repair and Refurbished Goods or Parts Notice

Faulty products may need to be returned for repair. Be aware that user-generated data stored on the product (e.g., files, phone numbers, songs, games) may be lost during the repair process. Save your data elsewhere before sending the product for repair.

Stirling may replace goods with refurbished goods or use refurbished parts in the repair process, provided they meet ALDI's stringent quality specifications.
