Safety Warnings

WARNING

Riding an electric dirt bike is a hazardous activity. The EVERCROSS EV65M is intended to move, and it is possible to lose control, fall off, or get into dangerous situations. Serious injury or death can occur. Ride at your own risk and use common sense.

This manual contains warnings and cautions regarding the consequences of failing to maintain, inspect, or properly use the electric dirt bike. Any incident can result in serious injury or death.

Appropriate Rider Use and Parental Supervision

It is your responsibility to review this information and ensure all riders understand warnings, cautions, instructions, and safety topics. EVERCROSS recommends periodically reviewing and reinforcing this information with younger riders and inspecting/maintaining the vehicle for their safety.

The recommended rider age is 15+ years for the EV65M, but this is an estimate. Rider size, weight, or skills may affect suitability. Do not exceed the weight limit of 198 lbs. Riders unable to fit comfortably on the EV65M should not attempt to ride it.

A parent's decision to allow a child to ride should be based on the child's maturity, skill, and ability to follow rules.

Acceptable Riding Practices and Conditions

Proper Riding Attire

Always wear proper protective equipment: an approved safety helmet (with chin strap securely buckled), elbow pads, and kneepads. A helmet may be legally required. A long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and gloves are recommended. Always wear athletic shoes (lace-up with rubber soles). Never drive barefooted or in sandals. Keep shoelaces tied and away from the wheels, motor, and drive system.

FAILURE TO USE COMMON SENSE AND HEED WARNINGS INCREASES RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY. USE WITH APPROPRIATE CAUTION AND SERIOUS ATTENTION TO SAFE OPERATION.

Package Contents

Check package contents carefully. If anything is missing or damaged, contact EVERCROSS customer service at support@evercross.eu.

We suggest that the products be assembled by an adult.

Tip: Please charge for 12 hours for first-time use.

Leg Brace Installation Tutorial

  1. Take out the support bracket and place it under the square tube on the left side of the rear fork.
  2. Take out the M6*15 pan head hexagon socket screws, align them with the holes, and lock them in.
  3. Use an M5 hex wrench to tighten the screws.

Package Overview

Remove contents from the box and foam separators. Inspect for scratches, dents, or kinked cables that may have occurred during shipping. The EV65M was assembled and packed at the factory, so there should be no problems, even if the box has minor cosmetic damage.

Key Components:

Assembly and Set-Up

Rear Shock Absorber and Rear Fork Assembly

  1. Align the hole of the rear shock absorber with the hole of the rear fork.
  2. Insert M8*40mm cylindrical head screws with socket head L cap, and cover with M8 nylon lock nut at the other end.
  3. Tighten the screws and nuts using a 6mm Allen key and 13mm open-end wrench.
  4. Take out the support stand and place it under the left side tube of the rear fork. Retrieve an M6*15mm cylindrical head hex screw, align it with the hole, and tighten it using an M5 hex wrench.

Important Note: DO NOT USE NON-EVERCROSS PRODUCTS WITH YOUR EV65M ELECTRIC BIKE. The EV65M is built to EVERCROSS design specifications. Using aftermarket parts may affect compatibility.

Handlebar Assembly

  1. Place the handlebar assembly on the upper aluminum assembly, move it symmetrically, and adjust it to the correct angle for riding.
  2. Attach the upper aluminum assembly using 4pcs M8*20mm cylindrical head socket head cap screws.
  3. Tighten the screws with a 6mm socket head wrench.

Safety Reminders (Pre-Ride Checklist)

Do not use the vehicle for the first time until tires are inflated to the correct PSI and the battery is charged for at least 12 hours. Failure to follow these instructions may damage the vehicle and void the warranty.

Riding Your Electric Dirt Bike

  1. Wear safety gear (helmet, etc.).
  2. Hold both handlebars firmly.
  3. Activate the power button and observe the charge indicator on the right handlebar.
  4. Twist the throttle to accelerate and place your foot on the pedal.
  5. To slow down or stop, release the accelerator.

Charging the Battery

The charger should be examined regularly for damage. Do not charge if the charger is damaged.

Daily Care and Maintenance

Chain and Sprocket

The chain may have a "loose spot" and "tight spot" due to sprocket rotational position. This is normal. Adjust the chain tension at the tightest spot. Maintain proper chain alignment. If the chain is noisy or rough running, check lubrication, tension, and alignment of the sprockets.

Battery Care and Disposal

Do not store the battery in temperatures above 75°F or below -10°F. Fully charge the battery after every use to prolong its lifespan.

Disposal: Your product uses sealed batteries that must be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. Do not dispose of a battery in a fire, as it may explode or leak. Do not dispose of batteries in regular household trash. Incineration, land filling, or mixing of sealed batteries with household trash is prohibited by law in most areas.

Charger

The charger should be regularly examined for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure, and other parts. Do not charge the EV65M until the charger has been repaired or replaced if damaged.

Replacement Parts

Frequently requested replacement parts (wheels, tires, tubes, batteries, chargers) are available for purchase online.

Cleaning and Storage

Do not clean the E-bike with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive solvents. Do not wash with a high-pressure water spray.

During cleaning, ensure the E-bike is turned off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the rubber flap is closed to prevent water leakage, electric shock, or other major problems. When not in use, keep the E-bike indoors where it is dry and cool.

Do not leave the E-bike outdoors for extended periods. Excessive sunlight, overheating, and overcooling accelerate battery lifespan.
