This document provides detailed instructions for the operation and features of the 720380 smart lock, including its integration with the Tuya Smart application.
III. Function and Operation
Initialization
To initialize the smart lock, press and hold the setting key (located on the rear panel) for 5 seconds. The voice prompt will announce "Initialization is successful". The default initialization password is 123456. Any fingerprint can be used to open the door during this initial state.
3.1 Add Master Information (Up to Three Masters)
To add master information, first press the Set key. In the initial state, the lock will broadcast "Please add master information". The master can be added via fingerprint, password, or card. After successful addition, the system will announce "master added successfully". This process can be repeated up to three consecutive times.
3.2 Add Lock Unlocking Information
To activate this function, light the touch screen by pressing '*', then press '#'. The lock will broadcast "Please verify master information". After successful verification, it will announce "1. add user, 2. delete user, 3. Open mode, 4. mute mode". Press '1' to enter the user adding state, and the lock will prompt "Please input the unlocking information". The system automatically adds users in order. The first three unlocking entries are considered master users. The lock supports a maximum of 300 unlocking entries.
3.3 Delete User Information
To delete user information, light the touch screen by pressing '*', then press '#'. After verifying master information, the lock will announce "1. add user, 2. delete user, 3. Open mode, 4. mute mode". Press '2' to enter the deletion state, and the lock will prompt "Please enter the number of deleting".
3.4 Open Mode
To access Open Mode, light the touch screen by pressing '*', then press '#'. After master verification, the lock will announce "1. add user, 2. delete user, 3. Open mode, 4. mute mode". Press '3' to enter, and the lock will broadcast "Open mode open" or "Open mode closed".
3.5 Mute Mode
To activate Mute Mode, light the touch screen by pressing '*', then press '#'. After master verification, the lock will announce "1. add user, 2. delete user, 3. Open mode, 4. mute mode". Press '4' to enter, and the lock will broadcast "mute mode on" or "mute mode off". When mute mode is enabled, the lock will operate silently.
3.6 Restore Factory Settings
Press and hold the reset and clear button on the rear panel for 10 seconds. The door lock will return to factory default settings, and the voice and light indicators will be restored. The factory default password is 123456. All registered fingerprints and cards will be cleared, but operation records remain unchanged.

3.7 Low Voltage Alarm and Battery Replacement Method
Battery Low Voltage Alarm: When the battery voltage is low, unlocking via fingerprint, password, or card will trigger a voice prompt: "the voltage is too low, please replace the battery".
Battery Replacement Method: Open the battery box, remove the old batteries, and insert new batteries, ensuring correct positive and negative pole alignment. Install the battery cover onto the back panel once the batteries are correctly placed.

3.8 USB Emergency Power Supply and Mechanical Key Unlock
If the battery is depleted, the lock can be unlocked using a 5V power bank connected via a micro USB cable to the lock's micro USB port. Alternatively, a mechanical key can be used for unlocking.

3.9 Electronic Anti-Lock Function
The electronic anti-lock key functions as follows: when pushed upward, the lock is engaged (locked); when pushed downward, it is disengaged (unlocked).

3.10 Other Instructions
- Inputting incorrect codes more than 6 consecutive times will lock the keyboard for 1 minute, during which no operations will be registered.
- Password Snooping Prevention: To check the door, enter the password in a sequence like "XXX password XXX". Irrelevant numbers can be added before and after the actual password. Press '#' to confirm. The password must be part of the entered sequence.
- If there is no operation for more than 12 seconds, the system will automatically exit.
- When the voltage drops below 4.8V, an alarm will sound with each unlocking. The lock can be unlocked up to 200 times after this warning. Subsequent unlocks will be delayed. It is crucial to replace the battery before the number of unlock attempts is exceeded.
- To switch between Chinese and English, input "555666888#" in the initial state.
IV. Work with TUYA APP
4.1 APP Configuration (Tuya Smart)
To integrate the smart lock with the Tuya Smart app:
- Search for "Tuya Smart" in your device's app store or app market, download, and install it.
- Register using your cellphone number and log in.
- Navigate to "Security & Sensor", find "Lock (Wi-Fi)", and tap to add the device, following the on-screen instructions.
- For remote unlocking, wake up the screen, press "9#". The app will display "Click open remotely". Tap "confirm" to unlock the door remotely.

4.2 Smart Lock Manual
4.2.1 APP Registration and Login
APP Registration: If you do not have a Tuya account, you can register or log in using an SMS verification code. Click "create a new account" to proceed to the registration page. Follow the prompts to obtain an SMS verification code and set a password. If you already have an account, click "login with an existing account". Login is supported via password, verification code, or social media accounts.

4.2.2 Create Homes
After successful registration and login, you can create your home profile. Each account can manage multiple homes, and devices can be organized by room within each home. Features like weather information depend on the geographical location set for the home.

4.2.5 Dynamic Password
You can generate a dynamic password within the app to share with others. This password can be copied and sent via text message.
