Understanding Your Monitor
Main Unit Components:
- Display: Shows blood pressure readings, pulse rate, and error messages.

Getting Started
1. Battery Installation
Open the battery cover on the back of the main unit. Insert 4 "AA" batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery cover.

2. Applying the Arm Cuff
Sit comfortably with your back supported and feet flat on the floor. Remove tight clothing from your upper left arm. Place the cuff on your bare upper arm, about 1-2 cm (about 1 inch) above the elbow. The tube should run down the inside of your arm. Fasten the cuff snugly but not too tight. Ensure the cuff is positioned correctly as per the diagram.

3. Taking a Measurement
- Press the Start/Stop button. The cuff will automatically inflate.
- Remain still and do not talk during measurement.
- The cuff will deflate, and your systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed.
- Press the Start/Stop button again to turn off the monitor.
Tips for Accurate Measurement:
- Sit quietly for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, bathing, or exercising for 30 minutes before measurement.
- Ensure the cuff is applied correctly and is the right size.
Memory Function
The monitor can store up to 60 measurements. Press the Memory button to view past readings. The display will show the average of all readings, followed by individual readings in chronological order.
