Cycling Cadence Sensor

Quick Start Guide

App Pairing

  1. Activate Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  2. Download App: Download the Wahoo Fitness app or another compatible training app from your device's app store (e.g., [App Store], [Google Play]).
  3. Activate Sensor: Shake the Wahoo RPM Cadence sensor. Look for the LED lights to blink. Note: The LEDs will turn off after 30 seconds to conserve battery power.
  4. Pair Sensor: Open the Wahoo Fitness app and navigate to the sensors page. Pair the RPM Cadence sensor.
  5. Update Firmware: If prompted, update the sensor's firmware to the latest version.
  6. Save Sensor: Save the paired sensor within the app.

ELEMNT Bike Computer Pairing

  1. Turn on ELEMNT and Go to Menu: Power on your ELEMNT bike computer and navigate to the main menu by pressing the top-left button.
  2. Select Add Sensor: Choose the "Add Sensor" option from the menu.
  3. Activate and Pair Sensor: Activate the RPM Cadence sensor by shaking it. Hold your ELEMNT computer close to the RPM Cadence sensor. Look for the LED lights to blink. Note: The LEDs will turn off after 30 seconds to conserve battery power.
  4. Save Sensor: Save the RPM Cadence sensor to your ELEMNT bike computer.

Mounting Options

The Wahoo RPM Cadence sensor can be mounted in three ways:

Option 1: Adhesive Mount

Use the included double-sided adhesive strip to attach the RPM Cadence sensor to your crank arm. Clean the crank arm with alcohol, apply the adhesive strip, and press firmly for 30 seconds.

Option 2: Ziptie Mount

Place the sensor inside the included soft mount. Use the provided zip ties to secure the mount to your crank arm.

Option 3: Shoe Mount

Place the sensor inside the included mount designed for footwear. Attach this mount to your shoe, typically to the laces.
