Neewer NW-800 Microphone Setup Guide for Windows
This guide provides instructions on how to set up your Neewer NW-800 microphone on a Windows computer.
Connection Guide
Connection Overview:
- Connect the microphone to the audio interface using an XLR Male to XLR Female Cable (not included).
- The audio interface requires 48V Phantom Power (not included).
- A XLR Female to 3.5mm Audio Cable (included) connects the audio interface to your PC.
Microphone Setup Guide: For Windows Computer

Connect the Microphone: Insert the microphone's 3.5mm plug into the 3.5mm audio interface on your PC. Typically, this port is colored pink.

Access Sound Settings: Right-click the 'Volume' icon on the taskbar and select 'Recording Devices'.

Select Microphone: In the 'Recording' tab, select 'Microphone' as the system's default recording device, then click 'Properties'.

Adjust Levels: Navigate to the 'Levels' tab. Set the 'Microphone' volume slider to 80 and the 'Microphone Boost' slider to 0 or +10.0dB.

Test the Microphone: To test the microphone, switch to the 'Listen' tab in the 'Microphone Properties' window. Check the 'Listen to this device' option. You may experience sound delay or disturbance, making this setup unsuitable for parties or speeches where an AMP or professional sound card is required.
