- Overall Width: 71.8 mm (2.82 inches)
- Overall Height: 93.0 mm (3.66 inches)
- Depth varies by model, with key depth measurements including 45.5 mm (1.79 in.), 85.0 mm (3.34 in.), and 104.2 mm (4.10 in.).
Installation Requirements
The EcoStruxure Panel Server is designed exclusively for indoor environments and is not suitable for installation in wet or damp locations.
Vertical installation is permissible, provided that the ambient operating temperature is maintained within the range of -25 °C to +50 °C (-13 °F to +122 °F).
Wiring and Connections
Power Supply
The Panel Server requires an external power source for operation:
- PAS600L: Must be powered by a 24 V DC supply, preferably a UL/CSA approved Class II power supply. For regions outside NEMA/UL standards, a galvanically isolated SELV 24 V DC supply is required.
- PAS600T: Supports input voltages from 110-240 V AC.
- PAS600: Supports input voltages from 110-277 V AC.
All connected cables must be securely linked to a single building earth ground. Recommended wire gauges range from 1.5-2.5 mm² (16-14 AWG), with terminal connections requiring a torque of 0.6 N•m (5 lb-in.).
Ethernet Connection
The device is equipped with two 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet RJ45 ports, designated as Ethernet 1 and Ethernet 2, for network connectivity.
RS-485 Modbus Port
A dedicated RS-485 Modbus port is provided for serial communication. Wiring involves connecting signals like D0/-, D1/+, and OV to the appropriate terminals, with recommended wire preparation including stripping to 7 mm (0.27 inches).
Digital Inputs
The Panel Server supports digital inputs. For dry contact inputs, an external 24 V power supply is necessary. If using potential contact inputs, an external supply is not required, allowing direct connection to pulse outputs compliant with IEC62053-31 standards.
Status Indicators (LEDs)
Ethernet LEDs
- No Ethernet communication: Indicates that no Ethernet connection is active.
- 10 Mb Ethernet communication active: Signals that the device is communicating via Ethernet at 10 Mbps.
- 100 Mb Ethernet communication active: Signals that the device is communicating via Ethernet at 100 Mbps.
