Installation Guide

Retain this instruction sheet for future use. Visit our website at www.se.com.

⚠️ NOTICE: HAZARD OF EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.

  • For each bend in the antenna's cable, the radius of curvature must be more than 100 mm (3.93 in.).
  • The cable must not be wound in a loop.
  • Remove the antenna from the roof for the transport of the equipment.
Diagram illustrating correct and incorrect cable bending radius. The correct radius (R ≥ 100 mm / 3.93 in.) shows a gentle curve, while the incorrect radius (R < 100 mm / 3.93 in.) shows a sharp bend.

Dimensions

The antenna has the following approximate dimensions:

  • Height: 155.8 mm (6.13 in.)
  • Diameter at base: 35 mm (1.37 in.)
  • Main body diameter: 18.2 mm (0.71 in.)
  • Cable connector diameter: 8.2 mm (0.32 in.)

Installation Steps

Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Remove the roof panel before drilling to prevent shavings from falling into the equipment.
  2. Drill a hole for the cable gland.
  3. Install a cable gland with a diameter of 10 to 12 mm (0.39 to 0.47 in.) to maintain IP31 protection.
  4. Connect the antenna cable to the Panel Server.
  5. Secure connections with the specified torque: 0.8 N•m (7.1 lb-in.).
Diagrams illustrating the installation process. Steps include removing a roof panel, drilling a hole, installing a cable gland (10-12 mm / 0.39-0.47 in. diameter for IP31 protection), connecting the antenna cable to the Panel Server, and securing the connections with a torque of 0.8 N•m (7.1 lb-in.).
