Installing the Handlebars

Steps:

  1. Place the main frame vertically on firm level ground. Secure with a bike stand if available.
  2. Rotate the handlebar stem to face forward.
  3. Remove the 4 bolts from the handlebar clamp using the M4 hex wrench and remove the clamp.
  4. Fit the handlebars onto the stem, replacing the clamp.
  5. Replace and tighten the bolts to secure the handlebars.
  6. Loosen the 2 bolts on the sides of the handlebar stem using the M5 hex wrench.
  7. Rotate the handlebars until perpendicular to the frame and the stem is aligned with the top and down tubes.
  8. Retighten these bolts to lock the stem in place.

Installing the Front Wheel

Steps:

  1. Loosen the nuts on the front fork tips using the 13×15mm wrench and disconnect the protective bar.
  2. Remove the nuts and washers from both sides of the front wheel axle.
  3. Fit the front wheel into the front fork, ensuring the brake disc is on the left side and the axle is snugly held.
  4. Replace the washers and nuts, tightening them with the 13×15mm wrench.

Installing the Front Brake Caliper

Steps:

  1. Remove the two bolts from the front brake caliper using the M5 hex wrench.
  2. Fit the caliper onto its holder on the left side of the front fork.
  3. Replace and tighten the bolts to secure the caliper.
  4. Test that the brake levers and brakes work smoothly and firmly.

Installing the Pedals

Steps:

  1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals; they are different.
  2. Attach each pedal to the appropriate crank arm, screwing them in. Note: Screwing a pedal at the wrong side may damage its threads.
  3. Tighten the pedals' locking nuts with the 13×15mm wrench.
  4. Test that the pedals are securely fastened and rotate freely.

Installing the Rear Fender and Saddle

Steps:

  1. Attach the rear fender to the saddle post and tighten its locking bolt with the Phillips screwdriver.
  2. Loosen the seat tube clamp lever.
  3. Insert the saddle post to the desired height.
  4. Retighten the clamp lever.
  5. Check saddle security; adjust the clamp's adjustment nut if needed.
  6. To adjust saddle position forward/backward, loosen the nuts underneath the saddle with the 13×15mm wrench, slide, and retighten.

Installing the Front Fender and Light

Steps:

  1. Remove the nut, bolt, and washer from the front fender support.
  2. Fit the front light and front fender onto the support.
  3. Replace the washer, bolt, and nut, tightening the bolt with the M5 hex wrench and the nut with the 8×10mm wrench simultaneously.

Inflating the Tires

Steps:

  1. Remove the valve cap.
  2. Connect the pump to the valve.
  3. Inflate until firm, ideally to 50 psi (3.4 bars).
  4. Disconnect the pump and replace the valve cap.
  5. Repeat for the other tire.

Installing the Battery

Steps:

  1. Remove the bolts from the down tube.
  2. Slide the battery mount away from the battery and fit it onto the down tube.
  3. Align slots on the mount with the down tube, secure with bolts using the M4 hex wrench.
  4. Insert the key into the battery's keyhole.
  5. Turn the key counterclockwise to unlock the battery.
  6. Fit the battery onto its mount until it clicks.
  7. Turn the key clockwise to lock the battery.
  8. To activate/deactivate the display and motor, flip the battery's power switch to 'I' (on) or 'O' (off).

Operation

Battery

Caution: DO NOT allow the battery to drain completely, as this can reduce its lifespan and make reactivation difficult.

Battery Capacity Levels

Check the battery's current power level:

  1. Flip the battery's power switch to 'I'.
  2. Press the power display button to view indicator lights: 4 lights indicate a full battery, 1 light indicates a weak one.

Charging

When recharging is necessary:

  1. Remove the cover from the charging port next to the power switch.
  2. Connect the charger to its power cord and the charging port.
  3. Connect the power cord to a stable power supply.
  4. Turn on the battery and periodically check the charge level using the power display button. 3 or 4 lights indicate sufficient charge.
  5. When finished, disconnect the power cord and then the charger from the battery. Ensure the battery is properly inserted if removed.

Warning: DO NOT leave the battery connected to power once fully charged. Overcharging can cause overheating, reduced performance, or fires/explosions.

Activating and Deactivating the Display Panel

  1. With the battery on, hold the [Power Button] until the display panel activates. Perform this before using throttle or pedal assist.
  2. To deactivate, hold the [Power Button] again until the screen shuts down.

Warning: Simply deactivating the battery can also turn off the display. This abrupt power cut is NOT recommended and risks damaging components.

Manual Control

Ride normally with the display panel off or on. The Shimano shifters control the 3 front rings and 7 rear cogs. Use the levers to upshift or downshift.

Warning: Ensure the bicycle's crank is turning while shifting.

Pressing the [Up Arrow] button with the display on activates Pedal Assist Control (PAS) at Level 1. Pressing the throttle lever activates throttle control to top speed.

Pedal Assist Control (PAS)

PAS requires continuous pedaling to activate the motor, providing assistance. Default settings offer three levels and a 20 mph (32 km/h) top speed. Lower levels operate at 60% or 80% of the top speed.

PAS Levels (3-Level Mode)

LevelSpeed (mph)Speed (km/h)
0----
112 mph20 km/h
216 mph26 km/h
320 mph32 km/h

PAS can also be adjusted to five levels for finer control.

PAS Levels (5-Level Mode)

LevelSpeed (mph)Speed (km/h)
0----
18 mph13 km/h
211 mph18 km/h
313 mph22 km/h
416 mph26 km/h
520 mph32 km/h

PAS activates at Level 1 upon two pedal rotations. Press [Up Arrow] to increase level, [Down Arrow] to decrease.

PAS pauses automatically if you stop pedaling, press a brake lever, or exceed the current speed limit on a slope. It reactivates when pedaling resumes and speed is within limits. Shifting from Level 1 to 0 neutralizes the motor until [Up Arrow] is pressed.

Pressing the throttle while PAS is active engages throttle control. Turning off the display or battery stops the motor; manual operation resumes.

Throttle Control

The throttle lever on the right handlebar allows single-speed scooter-like operation. By default, it provides the bike's top speed (20 mph / 32 km/h) when the battery and display are on. Press the throttle to maintain speed without pedaling.

Warning: The bike may exceed its set speed on slopes.

Throttle control pauses if a brake lever is pressed or if the speed exceeds the set limit. It resumes when brakes are released and speed is within limits. Pedaling while using throttle activates PAS. Turning off the display or battery stops the motor.

Adjustment

To adjust bike parameters:

  1. Hold [Power Button] until the display panel activates.
  2. Hold [Up Arrow] and [Down Arrow] simultaneously to enter adjustment menus.
  3. Parameters start with 01 (Display Brightness).
  4. Use [Up Arrow] and [Down Arrow] to change settings, and [Power Button] to save and move to the next parameter.
  5. Wait for the display to reset automatically to exit menus.

Warning: DO NOT adjust parameters 03, 06, 07, 13, 14, or 15. These affect critical electrical and magnetic settings and can cause malfunction if changed incorrectly.
