NB-Series Quick Start Guide
Set gas type, location, and label the appliance
Initial Setup
Power on the water heater. The water heater will display 'SEt'. The Priority button LED will blink. Push the Priority button once.
The controller will display 'nG'. Push the up/down arrow [↑/↓] to select the gas type. Push the on/off button [⏻] to confirm.
The controller will display 'In'. Push the up/down arrow [↑/↓] to select the location. Push the on/off button [⏻] to confirm.
The controller will then alternate its display between gas type and location. Push the up button [↑] to go back and make changes. Push the Priority button [⭐] to confirm your settings.
The controller will display '888' and beep, then alternate between gas type and set temperature.

Labelling
In the plastic bag with the instruction manuals, you will find the gas type and location labels. Apply the selected gas type label in the position marked at the top of the data badge, similar to the example shown for Universal LPG.
Check the appliance location on the warning label situated above the data badge. Apply the correct location label over the existing text.

If changing the appliance from outdoor to indoor installation, ensure the text ‘DO NOT ENCLOSE THIS APPLIANCE' is covered, as shown in the example illustration.
To change gas type or location
Follow these steps to change the gas type or location settings:
- Remove the front cover of the appliance.
- Push Button A on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board).
- Push the up arrow [↑] to scroll through the available parameters.
- Push the on/off button [⏻] to change the selected value.

After setting the desired values, push button A on the PCB to save the settings and return the appliance to normal operation.
Control Panel Explanation:
PB-A: This button places the PCB into programming mode. Pressing PB-A again from a menu number will display the actual value, for example, the current temperature.
LED display: Shows current settings, values, or diagnostic information.
Up and down buttons [↑/↓]: Used to cycle through the menu numbers and parameters.
On/Off button [⏻]: Used to change the menu values.
