Installation Steps
1. Remove Old Toilet
- Turn off the water supply.
- Flush the toilet to empty the tank. Remove any remaining water from the tank or bowl.
- Disconnect the supply line from the tank.
- Remove decorative caps. Unscrew nuts attaching the toilet to the floor.
- Remove the old toilet.
- Ensure the water supply valve is shut off.
- Remove old closet bolts from the closet flange. Clean the base area of any old wax, putty, etc.
Important Note Regarding Water Supply
Ensure the shut-off valve is greater than 7 1/2" from the center of the drain to the center of the shut-off valve on either side.
This is a true 12" rough-in toilet from the finished wall to the center of the drain (no less than 12"). Baseboard thickness may reduce the rough-in dimension.

2. Install Closet Bolts
- Install closet bolts into the flange channel, turn 90°, and slide into place 6" (152mm) apart and parallel to the wall.
- Ensure the top surface of the drain flange is flush to the finished floor or does not exceed 1/2" (1.27 cm) above the finished floor. Consult a plumbing professional if necessary.
- Toilet Flange is not included.

3. Install Wax Ring
- Invert the toilet on the floor (use cushioning to prevent damage).
- Install the wax ring evenly around the waste flange, with the tapered end facing the toilet.

4. Position Toilet on Flange
- Lower the toilet onto the closet bolts, ensuring the bolts project through the mounting holes in the base of the toilet.
- Apply weight evenly until the toilet is flush to the floor.
- Install the washer and nut in sequence.
- Alternately tighten the nuts until the toilet is firmly sealed to the floor.
- Rock the toilet to press the bowl completely downward onto the wax ring and flange.
- Do not move after placement, or the watertight seal may be broken.
- Install the cap.

5. Install Tank
- Place the tank-to-bowl gasket over the tank nut, ensuring no gaps between the gasket and the tank.
- Insert the two tank bolts into the tank mounting holes.
- Pick up the tank and connect it to the bowl, guiding the bolts to align the tank with the bowl.
- Tighten nuts alternately to make them stable on the toilet bowl.

II. Steps
- Preparation: Clean the tank and pipe.
- Installation:
- Flush Valve: Disassemble outlet nut and washer for flush valve installation. Position the valve inside the tank. Push down on the valve body while attaching the outlet washer and tightening the outlet nut. Ensure the seal washer touches the cistern surface firmly.
- Fill Valve: Disassemble the adapter and inlet nut for fill valve installation. Position the valve inside the tank. Push down on the valve shank (not the top) while tightening the inlet nut. Screw the valve shank clockwise and pull the valve body to the correct height.
- Adjusting Water Level: Adjust water level by removing the clip and turning the outer float to the right position. Move the floats up or down along the valve body to the desired height. Click back into position and replace the plastic clip.
- Re-fill Tube: Slide the re-fill tube over the re-fill tube port. Trim the re-fill tube to the right size to prevent kinking. Insert the other end of the re-fill tube onto the re-fill cap of the overflow tube.
- Handle: Attach the hook to the hole of the lever. Insert the level into the tank through the handle hole. Adjust the direction of the handle according to the figure. Tighten the washer and nut.
- Chain: Check chain length. The flush valve may not work correctly if the chain is too long. Too short a chain may lead to leakage.
