Safety Technology
Active Safety Brake System
Standard on all versions, this intelligent autonomous braking system uses a radar and multifunction camera to detect obstacles. It provides collision avoidance for pedestrians and obstacles (0-18mph) and limits impact severity (beyond 18mph).
Distance Alert System
Works with the Active Safety Brake. It warns the driver of potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians ahead, using 'Amber' visual alerts for potential risks and 'Red' visual and audible alerts for imminent collisions, triggering the braking system if necessary.
Blind Spot Monitoring
Standard from GT models. Uses lateral ultrasound sensors and the windscreen camera to alert drivers to vehicles in their blind spots via an LED in the door mirror.
Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go (ACC Stop and Go)
Standard on GT Premium, optional from Allure Premium with automatic gearbox. Uses radar to maintain set speed and a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, slowing to a stop and moving off automatically. When activated, it incorporates Lane Positioning Assist for central lane positioning.
ACC 30: An option from Allure Premium with manual gearboxes, offering distance and braking capabilities but not full stop-and-go functionality. It slows the vehicle to a minimum of 18mph.
PEUGEOT Connect SOS & Assistance
Standard from GT versions. A vehicle locating communication unit that can be activated manually or automatically. It precisely locates the vehicle and triggers emergency services for a rapid response. The system is subscription-free.
Lane Keeping Technologies
Active Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA) + Road Edge Detection: Standard on all versions. Monitors lane markings and provides alerts. If a risk of accidental lane crossing is detected above 40mph, the steering is gradually corrected to keep the vehicle in lane. Road edge detection is also included.
Lane Positioning Assist: Standard on GT Premium. Linked to ACC Stop & Go, this system positions the car centrally within its lane, applying trajectory corrections.
Speed Limit Recognition and Recommendation
Standard on all versions. Uses the windscreen camera to read and display speed limit signs on the digital instrument panel. The driver can optionally adapt their speed to the recognized limit via the cruise control stalk.
Road Sign Recognition and Recommendation
Standard on all versions. Reads and interprets various road signs (e.g., 'Stop', 'One Way', 'No Overtaking') and displays them on the head-up digital instrument panel.
PEUGEOT Smartbeam Assistance
Standard from GT onwards. Uses a windscreen-mounted camera to analyse driving conditions and automatically switches headlights to full beam when conditions allow, enhancing visibility at night.
Driver Attention Alert
Driver Attention Alert 3 (DAA3): Standard from Active Premium onwards. Uses a camera at the top of the windscreen to analyse vehicle trajectory and evaluate driver vigilance at speeds over 40mph. Vertical LED daytime running lights are inspired by the PEUGEOT Instinct concept car. Full LED headlights feature a distinctive 3-claw design. Striking details include gloss black diamond roof (from GT) and door mirror shells for a sporty bi-tone effect. Rear
The flowing silhouette is complemented by signature PEUGEOT design touches. Rear LED 'Claw Effect' lighting is available in two styles: 'classic' (from Active Premium) and a more dynamic 3D design (from Allure). PEUGEOT Service Plans
PEUGEOT offers service plans for up to five years with various mileage options, available via one-off upfront or monthly direct debit payments. These plans are affordable and inflation-proof, fixing costs for the duration.

- 208: 36 Months / 30,000 Miles - £14.40; 48 Months / 40,000 Miles - £18.55; 60 Months / 50,000 Miles - £19.25 (based on 10,000 miles per annum).
- e-208: 36 Months / 30,000 Miles - £8.05; 48 Months / 40,000 Miles - £11.88; 60 Months / 50,000 Miles - £12.34 (based on 10,000 miles per annum).
A PEUGEOT Service Plan can be purchased up to 12 months after registration. Prices are indicative. Normal wear and tear items (tyres, brake pads, wipers, etc.) are excluded. Servicing must be carried out by a PEUGEOT Authorised Repairer in the UK.

AdBlue® Information (BlueHDi Engines)
How the Process Works
PEUGEOT models with BlueHDi engines use Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and particulate filtration to treat exhaust gases. This process targets diesel combustion pollutants, reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx) by up to 90% and eliminating 99.9% of particulates.
- Stage One: Oxidation catalytic converter eliminates hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO).
- Stage Two: SCR transforms NOx into water (H2O) and nitrogen (N2) using AdBlue® (urea and water mixture).
- Stage Three: Particulate Emission Filter eliminates 99.9% of particulates.

Topping Up AdBlue®
The vehicle provides low level notifications. If AdBlue® range is between 1,500 and 500 miles (2,400 and 800 km), an orange warning lamp and message appear upon ignition. Between 500 and 62 miles (800 and 100 km), warnings become more frequent, including audible signals. If the range is less than 62 miles (100 km), warnings appear every 6 miles (10 km). It is essential to top up before the tank is completely empty to avoid starting prevention.
Important Points:
- If the AdBlue® tank is completely empty, add at least 5 litres of AdBlue® solution.
- Never pour AdBlue® into the Diesel fuel tank.
- Rinse spills with cold water or a damp cloth. Clean crystallised fluid with hot water.
- Keep AdBlue® out of reach of children, in its original container, and do not store containers in the vehicle.
- Use only AdBlue® fluid meeting the ISO 22241 standard.
- Never transfer AdBlue® to another container or dilute it with water.
- After a top-up following a breakdown alert, wait five minutes before switching on the ignition, without opening doors or unlocking the vehicle.
