Power On/Off
- Power on: Press and hold the Power Button (6) for 3 seconds.
- Power off: Press and hold the Power Button (6) for 3 seconds.
Note: Always power off the speaker when not in use.
Pair Wireless Speaker with Your Mobile Device
- Keep the distance between your wireless speaker and mobile phone (or other devices) within 32.8 Feet (10 meters).
- Power on the wireless speaker.
- Activate the Bluetooth function on your phone and select "SP-0269 SPK" from the list of available devices.
- You will hear a beep sound when pairing is successful.
Reconnect Wireless Speaker to Your Mobile Device
When powered on, the wireless speaker will automatically connect with the last successfully paired device.
Charging Your Wireless Speaker
⚠️ For your safety, please always use an appropriate 5V output charger/adapter to charge the product. DO NOT USE Quick Charging USB Adapters, as it might damage the product.
- Use the USB Type-C charging cable provided with this wireless speaker.
- Open the silicon seal cover on the back side of the speaker.
- Connect the USB Type-C plug to the speaker's USB Type-C charging port (7), then connect the USB plug to a wall adapter to begin charging.
- The Charging Indicator (8) will turn red while charging and will turn off once fully charged.
NOTE:
- You must select a qualified charger from a regular manufacturer.
- You must charge the Wireless speaker if it has not been used for more than 6 months.

Bluetooth Speaker Mode
- Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause Button (3) once.
- Next Track: Short press the "+" Button (2) once.
- Previous Track: Short press the "-" Button (1) once.
- Volume Up: Long press the "+" Button (2).
- Volume Down: Long press the "-" Button (1).
FM Radio Mode
NOTE: Plugging in the USB Type-C Charging Cable can enhance the FM sensitivity. However, this will disable the Water Protection. Only use in a dry condition.
- Switch to FM Radio Mode: Short press the "M" Button (5) once.
- Switch back to Bluetooth Speaker Mode: Short press the "M" Button (5) again.
- Auto Scan: Long press the Play/Pause Button (3).
- Next Channel: Short press the "+" Button (2) once.
- Previous Channel: Short press the "-" Button (1) once.
- Volume Up: Long press the "+" Button (2).
- Volume Down: Long press the "-" Button (1).
- Mute/Unmute: Short press the Play/Pause Button (3).
True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Mode
NOTE:
- Please purchase two pieces of Defend Water Resistant Wireless Speakers to perform TWS Mode.
- TWS mode is not supported in FM Radio mode.
- Turn on both wireless speakers.
- Disconnect both wireless speakers from any Bluetooth device.
- Keep both wireless speakers side by side.
- Press and hold the "M" Button (5) for 2 seconds on ONE of the wireless speakers. You will hear an alert sound.
- The wireless speaker will connect with the other wireless speaker in a few seconds. Both speakers will emit another alert sound upon successful connection.
- Now, follow the "Pair Wireless Speaker with Your Mobile Device" instructions to pair with your mobile device.
- To disable TWS mode, power off and then on both wireless speakers. Alternatively, press and hold the "M" Button (5) for 2 seconds on ONE of the wireless speakers. You will hear an alert sound, and they will disconnect.
Water Protection
The product is IPX5 Water-jet resistant rated. However, DO NOT immerse the unit in water, as it may cause product failure.
- For proper water protection, ensure the Water Resistance Plug is completely flush with the unit by pressing along the entire edge of the cover until it is completely and securely in place.
- Make sure the cover and surrounding surfaces are completely dry before opening the cover to prevent moisture from damaging the internal electronics.
- Keep the cover free of dirt, sand, or other objects that can interfere with proper sealing. If the cover is not making a tight waterproof seal, water may enter the unit.
- DO NOT clean the unit with oily soaps, chemicals, or solvents. Clean with a damp cloth.

- If the Wireless speaker cannot be paired with your device:
- Ensure that your speaker is in pairing mode or reconnection mode.
- Ensure that your mobile device's Bluetooth search function is activated.
- If the Wireless speaker cannot be recharged:
- If you use a power outlet, ensure that the power supply is connected securely and the outlet works.
