Remote Control Operation
Remote Control Overview
The remote control allows for comprehensive management of the Jacinda light. Key functions include:
- Power: Master ON/OFF for all connected lights.
- Brightness: Increase or decrease light intensity.
- Color Temperature: Adjust between various white tones (e.g., cold white, daylight, neutral white, warm white).
- Quick Selection: Buttons for fast brightness and color temperature changes.
- Memory Function: Save and recall preferred settings.
- Timer Function: Set the light to turn off automatically after 10, 20, 30, or 60 minutes.
- Group Control: Assign and manage up to four groups of lights.
- Keypad Lock/Unlock: Prevent accidental button presses.
Refer to the numbered buttons on the remote control diagram for specific functions.
Assigning the Remote Control (Quick Start)
To connect the remote to the light for the first time:
- Turn on the light using the wall switch.
- Within 2 seconds, press the 'On' button ('I') on the desired shortcut key until the light flashes, indicating successful pairing.
- To group multiple lights, repeat the process for each light. Grouped lights operate synchronously.
Undo Assignment / Reset Light
To reset a light and remove it from its current assignment:
- Disconnect the light from power for approximately 10 seconds via the wall switch.
- Turn the light back on.
- Press the assigned group button 5 times consecutively. The light will reset.
Memory Function (Wall Switch)
Activate: Press and hold button 4 for at least 3 seconds. The light will flash, indicating that the last remote-controlled setting will be restored upon next power-up via the wall switch.
Deactivate: Press and hold button 13 for at least 3 seconds. The light will flash, indicating deactivation.
Range and Battery Information
The remote control operates effectively within a radius of up to 20 meters. This range may be reduced by walls or other interference. If the range decreases, check and replace the batteries (2x AAA, 1.5V).
Battery Disposal and Handling
Disposal: As an end user, you are legally required to return used batteries. You can return old batteries free of charge to our shipping warehouse (Brilliant AG, Brilliantstr.1, D-27442 Gnarrenburg) or your local dealer.

- Hg: Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass.
- ?️ (Crossed-out dustbin): Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
Handling Instructions:
- Clean battery and device contacts before insertion if necessary.
- Remove exhausted batteries promptly to prevent leakage.
- Never expose batteries to excessive heat (sunlight, fire, etc.).
- Always replace all batteries simultaneously.
- Use only batteries of the same type; do not mix types or used/new batteries.
- Remove batteries if the device will be unused for extended periods.
