1.1. Control Unit Wiring Diagram
WARNING: Before attempting any work on the control board (connections, maintenance), always turn off power. Use a braided shield cable to reduce induced noise. The cable wires must be protected from contact with any rough and sharp surfaces.
The diagram shows the control board with various connection points for motors, accessories, limit switches, photocells, and power supply. Key components labeled include:
- ANT: Antenna
- GND: Ground
- Receiver
- DIP Switches
- PWR: Power indicator
- A, B: Status indicators
- ST, PED, Ph1, Ph2, STOP: Status LEDs for commands and sensors
- Sw1, Sw2: Limit switches
- Start, Ped, Stop, Close, Open: Terminals for external control buttons and limit switches
- Int.Lamp: Internal lamp connection
- Ext.Lamp: External signal lamp connection
- Fuse 2, Fuse 5A: Fuses
- ~220 (N, L, PE): Power input
- MOTOR (M-L2, M-L1, M-N): Motor connection
- J1, J2, J3, J4: Terminal blocks
- Capacitor
- Limit switches
- LED
The diagram also illustrates the connection of external control buttons and photocells for closing and opening, emphasizing the correct jumper settings (NC for PhotoCell-N) and polarity.
1.2. Terminals Description
Power Input Connectors (J1 terminal block)
- ~220 (N, L, PE): Power supply connector.
- PE: Ground terminal.
- N: Power supply (neutral).
- L: Power supply (line).
Electric Motors Connectors (J2 terminal block)
- MOTOR (M-L2, M-L1, M-N): Connector for the motor unit. Ensure the motor is connected as shown in the diagram.
Signal Lamp Connectors (J3 terminal block)
- Ext.Lamp: Terminal to connect a signal lamp (230 V, max 40 W). Operates during any gate movement.
Accessories Connectors (J4 terminal block)
- START (NO): «Full opening» command. Connecting these terminals initiates total opening and/or closing, depending on the DIP1 switch setting.
- DIP1-off: Commands in cycle mode: Open — Stop — Close — Stop.
- DIP1-on: Commands in cycle mode: Open — Limit switch — Close (no stop during movement). For multiple devices, connect NO contacts in parallel.
- Ped (NO): «Pedestrian passage» command.
- DIP2-off: Ped command opens the gate by 1m; repeated Ped command closes it. Start command after Ped closes the gate completely. If the gate is closed, Ped command opens it by 1m; if open, it closes it completely.
- DIP2-on: Separate operator control: Start opens, Ped closes. For multiple devices, connect NO contacts in parallel.
- SW OP/SW CL: Signals from travel limit switches. Indicates when the gate leaf reaches its opened/closed limit, prohibiting further movement in that direction.
- Photo Cl (NC): Closing safety devices contact. Safety device activation results in immediate reverse movement to full opening. If the gate is open and these sensors are triggered, closing is prevented. For multiple devices, connect NC contacts in series. WARNING: If no devices are connected, install a jumper between Ph CL and GND.
- Photo Op (NC): Opening safety devices contact. Protects the gate during opening. Device activation causes immediate stop. If the gate is closed and these sensors are triggered, opening is prevented. For multiple devices, connect NC contacts in series. WARNING: If no devices are connected, install a jumper between Ph Op and GND.
- Stop, GND (NC): Emergency stop devices contact. Protects the gate leaf during opening and closing. Triggers immediate stop. If the gate is at rest and these sensors are triggered, any movement is prevented. For multiple devices, connect NC contacts in series. WARNING: If no devices are connected, install a jumper between Stop and GND.
- 24 V DC: Output terminals from the power supply transformer (max load 600 mA).

1.4. Description of Mechanically Operated Controls
- Reverse/TIMER W: Adjustment of reverse time after limit switch response.
- AUTO CL: Adjustment of time delay before automatic closing. Time delay can be adjusted from 0 to 70 seconds. Automatic closing is off in the leftmost position.
- FORCE: Adjustment of operator traction force (maximum current consumption). Maximum force is achieved in the rightmost position (not recommended).
Adjustment of mechanically operated controls: To increase a parameter, turn clockwise. To reduce, turn counterclockwise.
Diagrams show the three adjustable controls: Reverse/TIMER W, AUTO CL, and FORCE.
2. Transmitter Programming
2.1. Receiver Memory Clearing
After power on, hold the transmitter record button (CODE/Radio) for 20 seconds. Indicator «A» will be constantly on, signal lamp will flash. Indicator «B» will light for one second and go out, confirming memory erase. Signal lamp and indicator «A» will then go out.
2.2. Recording of DoorHan Transmitters in the Receiver
To record a transmitter: Press and hold the transmitter record button (CODE/Radio) for 3 seconds. Indicator «A» lights up, signal lamp blinks. Within 10 seconds, while indicator «A» is on, press the desired transmitter button twice. Indicator «B» flashes once and goes out, confirming successful recording. Signal lamp and indicator «A» go out.
NOTE: Repeat for multiple transmitters. If the receiver memory is full, indicator «B» flashes three times (max. 60 transmitters). Multichannel transmitters can also be recorded.
2.3. How to Delete a Transmitter from Receiver Memory
To delete a specific transmitter: Press and hold the CODE/Radio button until indicator «A» blinks (approx. 12 seconds). Then, press the transmitter button to be deleted twice. Indicator «B» flashes three times, confirming deletion.
2.4. Remote Programming of DoorHan Transmitters
Perform steps 1-4 within a 5-second interval:
- Press and hold button 2 of a programmed transmitter.
- While holding button 2, press and hold button 1.
- Release all buttons.
- Press the programmed transmitter button; the receiver enters programming mode (indicator «A» on, signal lamp flashing).
NOTE: Recording must be done within 10 seconds of entering programming mode, or the receiver exits.
Press the button on the new transmitter twice. Indicator «B» flashes once and goes out, confirming successful recording. Signal lamp and indicator «A» go out.
NOTE: Perform programming within the operator's receiver range. If memory is full, indicator «B» flashes three times (max. 60 transmitters).
2.5. Disabling of Remote Programming Function
If enabled: LEDs HL9(a) and HL10(b) briefly turn on/off when power is supplied.
If disabled: LEDs do not turn on when power is supplied.
To enable/disable: Press and hold the CODE/Radio button, then supply power to the control board without releasing the button.
2.6. Marking of DoorHan Transmitter Buttons
Diagrams show different DoorHan remote controls with buttons numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4. The number of each button can be identified by dots on the transmitter body.
