Using Your Keyboard
Power On/Off: Open the stand to turn the keyboard on; close the stand to turn it off.
Bluetooth Pairing: Press the + key to enter pairing mode. The indicator flashes quickly to show it has entered pairing mode. If the indicator flashes slowly, pairing was not successful.
Auto Reconnect: When powered on, the keyboard automatically attempts to reconnect with the last paired device for 5 seconds.
Standby Mode:
- When not paired: After 5 minutes of inactivity or if not connected after 1 minute, the backlight turns off and the keyboard enters standby mode.
- When paired: The backlight automatically turns off after 1 minute of inactivity. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the keyboard enters standby mode. Press any key to wake the keyboard.
- *Note*: Pressing or swiping the trackpad does not wake the keyboard.
During Charging: The indicator turns white.
Low Power: Charging the keyboard is recommended when the battery level drops below 30%.
Backlight: Press the + key to turn the backlight on/off and adjust the brightness level (low, medium, high).
Caps Lock: The indicator turns white when Caps Lock is turned on.
Factory Reset: With the device powered on, hold the + + + keys for 5 seconds. The LED status bar will flash 6 times to indicate a successful factory reset.
Troubleshooting Guide
If the keyboard stops working, please check the following:
- Ensure the keyboard has sufficient charge. If the battery is below 30%, use the included cable to charge.
- If the connection is unstable, restart the keyboard and unpair it by going to Settings > Bluetooth > Device List > "ESR Keyboard". Then follow Bluetooth pairing instructions to reconnect.
If the keyboard remains unresponsive, repeat the above steps. If you are still experiencing problems, contact the customer service of the website, app, or store where the keyboard was purchased for further assistance.
Reminder
This Bluetooth keyboard has a rechargeable battery. When not using the keyboard for an extended period of time, turn the keyboard off to prolong battery life.
