Overview

This document provides instructions and troubleshooting tips for the ESR 6B012A Rebound Magnetic Keyboard Case.

Features and Operation

Power On/Off

Long press the power button for 2 seconds to turn the keyboard on or off.

Bluetooth Pairing

Long press the + button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The Bluetooth status light will flash. If not connected within 2 minutes, pairing mode will turn off.

Standby Mode

The keyboard backlight turns off automatically after 90 seconds of inactivity. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the keyboard enters standby mode. Press any key to wake the keyboard.

Automatic Reconnection

When turned on, the keyboard will automatically reconnect with the last paired device within 5 seconds.

Backlight Control

• Press + to select backlight brightness level (high, medium, low, off).
• Press + to select backlight color (12 colors).

Charging

Charging: Indicator light is on.
Fully charged: Indicator light is off.
Low battery: Indicator light flashes.

Factory Reset

Long press + + + + delete for 3 seconds until the charging status and Bluetooth status lights flash 3 times, indicating a successful factory reset.

Troubleshooting Guide

If the keyboard is not working, please check the following:

1. Power: Ensure the keyboard is turned on. If not, long press the power button for 2 seconds.
2. Battery: Ensure the keyboard has sufficient battery (at least 20%). If not, charge it using the included USB-A to USB-C cable.
3. Bluetooth Connection: Ensure the Bluetooth connection to your iPad is stable. Turn the keyboard off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on. If the problem persists, unpair the keyboard by going to Settings > Bluetooth > Device List > “ESR Keyboard”, tap X, and choose “Forget This Device”. Follow the Bluetooth pairing instructions to reconnect your keyboard.

If the keyboard remains unresponsive, repeat the above steps. If you are still experiencing problems, contact customer service.

Shortcut Keys

The following are common shortcut key functions:

• ESC: Escape
• Brightness -: Decrease brightness
• Brightness +: Increase brightness
• On-screen keyboard: Fn + C
• Previous song: Fn + Left Arrow
• Play/pause: Fn + Up Arrow
• Next song: Fn + Right Arrow
• Volume down: Fn + Down Arrow
• Volume up: Fn + C
• Dictation: Fn + H

Important Notes

This Bluetooth keyboard has a rechargeable battery. When not using the keyboard for an extended period, turn it off using the on/off button to prolong battery life.
