Description
The camera unit includes the following components:
- Speaker
- Lens
- PIR Sensor
- Microphone
- SD card slot (Micro SD)
- Micro USB port
- Reset button
- Power on/off button
Component Details:
Power Port: DC 5V±10%
Power on/off: Press the button for 3 seconds to turn on/off the camera.
Status light:
- Red light solid: The camera network is abnormal.
- Red light blinking: Awaiting WiFi connection, or currently connecting (faster blinking).
- Blue light solid: Camera is running correctly.
SD card slot: Supports local SD Card storage (Max. 128GB). It is recommended to plug in or remove the SD card after power cut. Confirm the SD card is normally available and formatted as FAT32. Use the provided tool to remove the SD card.
Reset: Press and hold for 5 seconds to reset the camera.
Battery capacity: 10000mAh (Two 21700 lithium-ion batteries).
Install
Mode: Bracket Installation
- Fix the bracket on the wall.
- Install the camera in the bracket and lock it with the screw.
After adjusting your camera angle, please lock the angle adjustment screw.
Connect
Download the App
CloudEdge is available for both iOS and Android OS. Search for 'CloudEdge' in the App Store or Android Market, or scan the provided QR code (Note: QR codes are excluded from this output) to download the App.
Add Device
Log in to the CloudEdge app, select "Add Device", and add the smart camera to the app. Follow the on-screen tips. Keep the smart camera close to your router during configuration.
Note: If you need to re-select the WiFi network, press and hold the "RESET" button for 5 seconds. The device will restart, and the indicator will be flashing red.
FAQ
- Q: The device cannot be previewed properly?
- A: Check if the network is normal. Try placing the camera closer to the router. If issues persist, reset the device and add it again.
- Q: Why is it still in the list of devices after resetting?
- A: Resetting the device only resets its network configuration. It does not remove it from the app. You must manually remove the camera from the app.
- Q: How to connect the camera to another router?
- A: First, remove and reset the device in the app. Then, reconfigure the device with the new router settings through the app.
- Q: Why doesn't the device identify the SD card?
- A: It is recommended to insert the SD card after powering off the device. Ensure the SD card is functional and formatted as FAT32. Poor network conditions may also prevent identification.
- Q: Why am I not receiving notifications on my mobile app?
- A: Ensure the CloudEdge app is running on your phone and that notification functions are enabled within the app. Also, check that message notifications and authority confirmations are enabled in your phone's system settings.
Functions
- Remote wake-up: The camera enters a sleep mode to save power. You can wake it up for a preview in the app.
- Full-duplex audio: Allows two-way communication; you can see and hear visitors through the camera via the app.
- PIR (Motion Detection): When motion is detected, the camera sends an alarm message to your cell phone.
- Low battery alarm: The app sends a notification when the battery power drops below a set threshold.
- Record: Supports recording using an SD card or an optional Cloud Storage Service to save footage.
- Day & Night (Night Vision): Provides clear vision in complete darkness.
Warning
Safety precautions:
- The camera with a built-in battery must not be exposed to fire to prevent explosion.
- Do not drop the camera or subject it to strong impacts.
- Avoid placing the camera in humid, dusty, extremely hot, extremely cold environments, or areas with strong electromagnetic radiation.
- Do not immerse the camera in water.
- Do not disassemble the product without authorization.
