5.1 Conducted Testing at Antenna Port
5.1.1 Antenna Requirement
The EUT uses an internal slot antenna with a gain of -1.31 dBi. It is permanently attached and not replaceable, complying with FCC and RSS requirements.
5.1.2 6dB & 99% Bandwidth
Tests were conducted on 2025-04-29 under ambient conditions of 23.1°C, 56.5% humidity, and 101kPa pressure. The EUT operated in mode A.
2405 MHz: 6dB Bandwidth measured at 1.700 MHz. 99% Bandwidth measured at 2.275 MHz.
2445 MHz: 6dB Bandwidth measured at 1.750 MHz. 99% Bandwidth measured at 2.275 MHz.
2480 MHz: 6dB Bandwidth measured at 1.700 MHz. 99% Bandwidth measured at 2.275 MHz.
Spectrum analyzer plots are available showing the bandwidth measurements.
5.1.3 Output Power
Tests were conducted on 2025-04-29. The peak conducted output power for frequencies 2405 MHz, 2445 MHz, and 2480 MHz was measured to be 9.0 dBm, 8.0 dBm, and 8.0 dBm respectively, all within the 30 dBm limit.
Frequency [MHz] | Peak Conducted Output Power [dBm] | Limit [dBm] |
---|---|---|
2405 | 9.0 | 30 |
2445 | 8.0 | 30 |
2480 | 8.0 | 30 |
Note: The EIRP is calculated as Conducted Output Power + Antenna Gain (-1.31dBi), which is well below the 4 W (36dBm) limit.
5.1.4 Power Spectral Density
Tests were conducted on 2025-04-29. The power spectral density for frequencies 2405 MHz, 2445 MHz, and 2480 MHz was measured to be -3.086 dBm, -3.003 dBm, and -3.040 dBm respectively, all within the 8.0 dBm limit.
Spectrum analyzer plots are available showing the power spectral density measurements.
5.1.5 Conducted Band Edge and out-of Band Emissions
Tests were conducted on 2025-04-29. The conducted band edge and out-of-band emissions were evaluated. Plots show the reference levels and emission spectrums for 2405 MHz, 2445 MHz, and 2480 MHz. All emissions were found to be within the specified limits.
5.2 Emission in the Frequency Range up to 30MHz
5.2.1 Conducted Emission
Tests were conducted on 2025-03-31 using AC 120V, 60Hz power. The conducted emissions were measured on Line L and Line N. The results show that all measured emissions were below the specified limits.
