Boosting Workflow with AQA ?
What is Auto Quality Adjustment (AQA)?
Auto Quality Adjustment (AQA) is a unique function of the Intelligent Quality Optimisation Unit IQ-501/IQ-601. The IQ unit scans and measures quality confirmation charts printed from the AccurioPress print engine. AQA automatically performs self-diagnosis, correction, and repair of the Image Quality, leading to increased production time, reduced print wastage, and enabling less skilled operation.
Start Every Day with Confident Colour
AQA automatically adjusts colour before the day begins. Load the paper the day before, and AQA powers on at your set time to begin its work, allowing you to start printing immediately with consistent quality and improved productivity.

Reduce work time by 15 to 20 minutes per day!
Cut Downtime, Save Time ⏰
AQA helps reduce repair time and minimize machine interruptions. If streaks persist after auto-adjustment at startup, AQA flags the issue and supports remote diagnostics. A Konica Minolta technician can check the condition in advance and arrive with the exact parts needed, minimizing disruption to your workflow.

What Can AQA Do?
Improve stability. Reduce downtime. Automate quality. ⚙️
Diagram Description: An 'Evaluation chart' is scanned, and 'Image analysis' is performed. This analysis uses 'Explanatory variables' (such as feature value: colour, density, sharpness) and 'Objective variables' (like Rank value by visual evaluation) within a 'statistical model' to generate a 'Quality confirmation chart'.
From daily self-checks to remote maintenance support, AQA keeps your presses running smoothly.
1 Self-Diagnosis & Auto-Repair ✔️
- Automatic output quality check at startup or scheduled time.
- Uses the inline scanner in IQ-501 / IQ-601.
- Diagnoses image issues and, if needed:
- Performs automatic cleaning or correction.
- Initiates self-repair actions.
2 Enables Preventive Maintenance ✔️
- Diagnostic images are uploaded to the cloud.
- Technicians remotely assess machine condition in detail.
- Ensures the right parts and service are prepared in advance.
Less downtime. Faster fixes. More productivity.
