Understanding Battery Capacity and Rated Capacity
Battery Capacity refers to the total charge stored by the battery (e.g., 10000mAh at 3.7V). Rated Capacity is the actual output capacity after accounting for voltage conversion and energy loss during charging. For example, a 10000mAh power bank with 3.7V battery voltage and 90% efficiency, converting to a 5.1V output, would have a rated capacity of approximately 6529mAh (10000mAh * 3.7V * 0.9 / 5.1V).
Factors like ambient temperature and battery chemistry can also affect charging performance.
