Symbol Meaning: The symbol on the product/packaging/instructions indicates that electrical appliances are valuable and should not be disposed of with household waste. Please return them to designated collection points/dealers for recycling to protect the environment and conserve resources.
Safety Precautions: Lithium Batteries
Lithium batteries store high energy density and can be hazardous. Handle with extreme care during charging, discharging, storage, and use. Read these instructions carefully before first use. Misuse can lead to explosion, overheating, or fire. Failure to follow instructions can cause premature wear or defects. Keep these instructions safe and pass them on with the product.
Warning Notices:
- Avoid short-circuits; they can destroy the product. Ensure cables and connections are well insulated.
- Always check polarity when connecting the battery.
- Do not cut or modify original connectors/cables; use adapter cables if needed.
- Do not expose the battery to excessive heat/cold or direct sunlight. Do not throw in fire or contact with water/liquids.
- Charge only with intended chargers and always use the balancer connection for optimal charging. If not used, risks mentioned above may occur. Allow the battery to cool to ambient temperature before charging; never charge a hot battery.
- Place the battery on a non-flammable, heat-resistant surface during charging. Keep flammable objects away.
- Never leave the battery unsupervised during charging or operation.
- Adhere to recommended charge/discharge currents.
- Do not damage the battery casing. Avoid damage from sharp objects, drops, impacts, or bending. Damaged batteries must not be used.
- Batteries are not toys; keep away from children.
Charging Instructions: Lithium batteries are charged via CC-CV (Constant Current - Constant Voltage). The charging current reduces as the battery approaches full charge. Maximum charging current is 1C (C=nominal capacity). Never charge multiple batteries together from one charger, as differing states of charge can lead to overcharging and destruction.
Storage Instructions: Store lithium batteries at 20-50% charge capacity and 15-18°C. If cell voltage drops below 3V, recharge immediately. Deep discharge or storage while discharged renders the battery unusable.
General Guarantee Terms: Legal guarantee for production/material faults at time of dispatch. No liability for normal wear and tear. Guarantee does not cover defects from improper use, inadequate maintenance, third-party interference, or mechanical damage. Batteries are consumables and age over time, affecting capacity.
Exclusion of Liability: Tamiya/CARSON is not liable for losses, damages, or costs incurred due to inability to control charge/discharge, handling, adherence to instructions, or battery replacement/maintenance. Claims for damages resulting from operation, failure, or malfunctions are refused. No liability for personal injury or material damage and their consequences.
Disposal Instructions: Batteries are hazardous waste. Dispose of damaged or unusable cells properly.

Safety Instructions and Intended Use
This product is designed exclusively for hobby use on designated tracks/areas. Do not transport persons or animals. Read the manual before use to avoid operator errors. Models must be used with correctly fitted bodywork. Be aware that parts can get very hot during operation. Some models produce high noise levels; do not operate them continuously in close proximity to people. Before each drive, ensure the fuel tank is correctly closed or the battery is properly inserted. To prevent uncontrolled operation due to control system malfunctions, check transmitter and model batteries are in good condition. Always check model assembly before and after use, tightening nuts and bolts as needed.
This Model is Not a Toy!
- This product is not a toy; operation must be learned step-by-step.
- Children under 14 years of age should operate the model only under adult supervision.
Operating RC models is a fascinating hobby requiring caution and care. Due to the model's considerable weight and high speed, uncontrolled operation can cause significant damage and injury for which the operator is liable. Only a correctly assembled model will function and react as expected. Never improvise with unsuitable materials; use only original spare parts. Even with pre-assembled models, check all connections for secure seating and tightness.
Before Use, Ensure the Following:
- All rechargeable batteries are fully charged.
- Check radio range before starting.
- Verify the model responds correctly to control signals.
- All functional parts are in faultless condition and have been checked.
- All screw fastenings are firmly seated.
- Do not drive under high-voltage power lines, near radio masts, or during thunderstorms. Atmospheric interference can affect model operation.
- The model's electrical parts are not waterproof. Do not drive in rain, snow, through puddles, or on wet grass.
- Monitor the transmitter's charge level indicator. Low battery power can lead to loss of control.
- Never mix fully charged batteries with half-discharged ones or batteries of different capacities in the transmitter.
- Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable (dry cell) batteries; only charge specified rechargeable batteries.
Model Control:
- Raise the wheels off the ground.
- Turn the steering wheel fully left and right; the wheels should follow the steering direction.
- If wheels steer in the opposite direction, use the ST/REV switch.
- To regulate speed, use the throttle/brake trigger: push forward for braking/reverse, pull backward for forward/acceleration.
