Product Description
The ALGAINE Alu Calorifugée is a flexible duct composed of two aluminum layers and a 25 mm thick glass wool insulation. It allows the connection of a spigot and a bouche with thermal insulation (dual flow, air conditioning, ducted air heating, etc.) to all tertiary networks.
Areas of Application
- Residential collective housing, New construction, Renovation, Tertiary premises.
Installation
- Connection to the spigot or plenum collar is done by simple push-fit.
- Push the glass wool between the inner and outer sheath by a few centimeters and press the two sheaths together using RAA aluminum tape.
- Then fix the entire inner/outer sheath assembly to the spigot using a clamp such as a universal clamp or CSF placed on the aluminum tape.
- Connecting two lengths is done using an RM (male connector).
- In all cases, to avoid pressure drops and noise regeneration, limit the number of bends.
