Product Description
ALGAINE Alu Insulated is a flexible, semi-rigid duct composed of two layers of aluminium foil encasing 25 mm of glass wool insulation. It provides a thermally insulated connection from the branch to the terminal for commercial systems.
Fields of Application
Suitable for multi-occupancy residential housing, new builds, refurbishments, and non-residential buildings.
Installation Guide
- The duct simply slots onto the branch connector or the plenum ring.
- Ensure the glass wool is positioned between the inner and outer layers and secured with RAA Alu tape.
- Fit the joined layers of the duct over the connector and secure with a multi-purpose clamp or CSF wire collar on the Alu tape.
- Connect two lengths using an RM male connector.
- To minimize pressure losses and sound propagation, limit the use of bends.
