Important Safety Instructions
Please confirm the line voltage before use:
The JBL Authentics speaker is designed for use with 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz AC power. Using a voltage not intended for the product may create a safety hazard and fire hazard, or cause damage to the unit. If you have any questions about the voltage requirements for your specific model or your local line voltage, please contact your retailer or customer service representative before plugging the unit into a wall outlet.
Do not use extension cords:
For safety reasons, use only the power cord supplied with the unit. It is recommended that you do not use extension cords with this product. As with all electrical devices, do not run the power cord under carpets or place heavy objects on the power cord. Damaged power cords should be immediately replaced by an authorized service center with cords that meet original factory specifications.
Handle the AC power cord with care:
When unplugging the power cord from an AC power outlet, always pull the plug; never pull the cord. If you intend to leave this speaker unused for an extended period, unplug the power cord from the AC power outlet.
Do not open the cabinet:
There are no user-serviceable components inside the product. Opening the cabinet will expose you to the risk of electric shock, and any modification to the product will void your warranty. If the unit accidentally gets wet, disconnect the AC power immediately and consult an authorized service center.
