Installation

Lifting and Moving the TV

Before lifting or moving the TV, read the following instructions to avoid scratching or damaging the appliance and for safe transport regardless of type and size.

⚠ Avoid continuously touching the screen to avoid damaging it.
⚠ When connecting the stand to the TV, place the screen face down on a flat surface to protect it from scratches.

Mounting on a Table

  1. Lift and tilt the TV to a vertical position on a table. Leave a minimum of 10 cm space from the wall to ensure adequate ventilation.
  2. Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.
  • Do not apply foreign substances (oils, lubricants, etc.) to any part of the screws during product assembly. (Otherwise, the product may be damaged.)
  • To ensure product safety and durability, do not use counterfeit products.
  • Damage or injury caused by aggressive products are not covered by the warranty.
  • If installing the TV on a stand, take precautions to prevent it from tipping over. Otherwise, the product could fall and cause injury to people.
  • When assembling the stand, ensure all supplied screws are fastened. If the screws are not fully tightened, the product may tilt or tip over, causing damage. Overtightening the screws can cause them to detach due to abrasion at the screw joint.

Wall Mounting

  1. Insert and fasten the eyebolts or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the TV. If there are bolts inserted in the eyebolt position, remove them.
  2. Mount the brackets to the wall with screws. Match the position of the bracket and eyebolts on the back of the TV.
  3. Securely tie the eyebolts to the brackets with a robust cord. Ensure the cord is horizontal with the flat surface.

Mounting the TV on a Wall

Mount the wall mount bracket component on the back of the TV and fasten the bracket to a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. For fastening the TV to other building materials, contact qualified personnel. LG recommends having wall mounting performed by an experienced qualified installer. Use a wall mount bracket that allows for proper TV installation, leaving adequate space for connecting external devices. It is recommended to connect all cables before installing and fastening the wall mounts.

⚠ Remove the stand before fastening the TV to a wall mount bracket, by reversing the stand connection procedure.
  • For more information on screws and wall mount brackets, consult the manual included with the separately purchased wall mount bracket.
  • If you intend to mount the product on a wall, connect the standard VESA mounting interface (optional parts) to the back of the product. When installing the set to use the wall mount bracket (optional parts), fasten it securely so it cannot fall.
  • During mounting, pay particular attention not to crush electrical and signal cables located on the back of the TV.
  • Do not install the product on a wall if it is exposed to oil or liquid paraffin. The product could be damaged or fall.
  • During wall mount bracket installation, it is recommended to cover the stand hole with adhesive tape to prevent dust and insects from entering. (Model dependent)

  • Check the power control settings. Power may have been interrupted.
  • Check if the automatic shutdown function is activated in the timer settings.
  • The automatic shutdown function may have been activated. This product has an automatic shutdown function that automatically turns off the TV if you do not use the remote control for 15 minutes in the absence of an input signal.
When connecting the screen to a PC (HDMI), no signal is detected.
  • Turn the TV off/on using the Remote Control.
  • Reconnect the HDMI cable.

Display Issues
  • If the product feels cold to the touch, a slight “tremor” of the image may occur when turned on. This is normal behavior and does not indicate a product malfunction.
  • This panel is an advanced product containing millions of pixels. You may see tiny black dots and/or other vivid colored dots (red, blue, or green) with a size of 1 ppm on the panel. This does not indicate a malfunction and does not affect product performance and reliability. This phenomenon also occurs in third-party products and does not entitle you to product replacement or compensation.
  • The brightness and color of the panel may differ depending on the viewing position (left/right/top/bottom). This phenomenon is due to the characteristics of the panel. It has nothing to do with product performance and does not indicate a malfunction.
  • Avoid touching the screen or pressing on it with your fingers for too long. Otherwise, temporary distortion effects on the screen may occur.
  • Displaying a fixed image for a prolonged period may cause image persistence. Avoid displaying fixed images on the TV screen for a prolonged period.
Sounds and noises produced by the screen
  • “Crack”: The crack heard when turning the TV on or off is generated by the thermal contraction of the plastic caused by temperature and humidity. This noise is common in products that undergo deformation due to thermal agents.
  • Panel or electrical circuit buzzing: The high-speed switching circuit produces a slight noise due to the passage of a large amount of electrical energy required for product operation. The noise varies depending on the product. The generated sound does not affect product performance and reliability.
⚠ When cleaning the product, be careful not to allow liquid infiltration or foreign objects to enter the space between the top, left, or right side of the panel and the corresponding guide. (Model dependent)
⚠ Make sure to remove any excess water or detergent by wringing the cloth.
⚠ Do not spray water or detergent directly onto the TV screen.
⚠ Make sure to spray the correct amount of water or detergent onto a dry cloth to clean the screen.
