CamHiPro Mobile App Instructions

This guide provides instructions for using the CamHiPro mobile application to manage your network cameras.

Software Overview

The CamHiPro APP is a tool for managing network cameras. It allows users to monitor network camera images on both local area networks (LAN) and the internet via their mobile phones. The app supports LAN search, manual ID entry, sound wave and AP Wi-Fi configuration, adding low-power devices, device sharing, adding, deleting, and editing devices. It also supports audio monitoring, intercom, taking snapshots, adjusting image quality, remote video file download, and cloud storage.

1. Add Camera

To add a camera, connect your mobile phone to a Wi-Fi network and open the CamHiPro app. Tap the 'Add Device' button to enter the Add Device interface. Choose the appropriate adding method based on your camera type. Instructions below are for IP cameras.

1.1 Connected to Network Cable

If the device is connected via a network cable, select 'Connected to network cable'. The app will automatically search for the device's UID on the current LAN. Select the UID and tap 'Add'. The device will then search for nearby Wi-Fi signals to enter the wireless configuration interface. Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap 'Configure wireless and add'. Upon successful configuration, you will be directed to the device list. Alternatively, tap 'Don't configure yet, add directly' to add the camera without Wi-Fi configuration.

Select the camera's hotspot and tap 'Connect'. Once connected, tap 'Add' in the app to enter the wireless configuration interface. Enter your router's Wi-Fi password and tap 'Configure wireless and add'. If you prefer not to configure Wi-Fi now, tap 'Don't configure, add directly'. Note: Enable your mobile phone's GPS function for AP distribution network.

IOS Mobile (AP Distribution Network)

When not connected to a network cable, power on the device and tap 'Go to Settings'. The app will redirect you to your phone's Wi-Fi settings. Find the IPCAM-XXXXXX hotspot (default password: 01234567) and connect. After successful connection, return to the app and tap 'Add' to enter the wireless configuration interface. Enter your router's Wi-Fi password and tap 'Configure wireless and add'. If you prefer not to configure Wi-Fi now, tap 'Don't configure, add directly'.
