Introduction
The BUSH BR-630 is a portable cassette player designed for enjoying old cassette tapes on the go. It offers multiple functions, including recording to cassette via its integrated microphone or directly from the built-in radio, playing cassette tapes, and listening to AM/FM radio. Its compact design allows it to fit easily into most bags or pockets, and it features an integrated belt clip for enhanced portability. The device can be powered by two AA batteries or a 3V DC adapter (batteries and adapter sold separately). The included earphones can be plugged into the 3.5mm Audio Output port, which can also be used to connect to external speakers or a Hi-Fi system for stereo audio playback.

Controls
The controls are illustrated with diagrams showing the top and side views of the cassette player. The top view displays the telescopic antenna, auto reverse button, reverse once/loop switch, fast forward button, rewind button, play button, record button, and stop button. The side view shows the DC-In socket, tuner knob, tape/radio switch, volume control, earphone socket, tape door, speaker, and AM/FM selector.

Operation
Inserting/replacing the batteries
Power the cassette player using 2 x AA batteries. Slide open the battery compartment lid in the indicated direction. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity as marked on the casing, then close the lid.
Playing cassette tapes
Open the tape compartment by lifting the tab marked '6'. Use the Play (14), Forward (13), or Rewind (12) buttons to find and play desired music. Press Stop (16) to halt playback. Press the Auto reverse button (10) to switch sides automatically. Use the Reverse once/Loop switch (11): slide left to play both sides once, or slide right to play both sides continuously until Stop (16) is pressed.
Tuning the radio
To switch on the radio, set the T/R button (3) to 'R'. Use the AM/FM selector switch (8) to choose between AM or FM. Turn the tuner knob to select your preferred radio station. To switch off the radio, set the T/R button (3) to 'T'.
Recording
To record from the radio: open the cassette tape door, insert a tape, set the T/R button (3) to 'R', tune to the desired radio station, and press the REC button (15). To record external voice using the built-in microphone: set the T/R button (3) to 'T' and press the Record button (15). Press the REC button again to stop recording, then rewind and playback to check the recording volume.
Maintenance
For optimal sound quality, it is recommended to clean the heads regularly, approximately every 10 hours of use. Use a cotton cloth or cotton bud dampened with cleanser or alcohol to clean the play/record head, rubber rollers, and capstan.
Troubleshooting
Q1: The unit doesn't work.
A1: The batteries may be weak.
A2: Ensure batteries are fitted with the correct polarity.
Q2: Cannot press REC (15).
A1: The safety tab on the cassette may have been removed.
Q3: Nothing happens when you press Play (14).
A1: Try using the Rewind (13) or Fast Forward (12) buttons first.
A2: Press Auto reverse (10) to play the other side of the tape.
Q3: Recording or Playback is distorted.
A1: Clean the heads manually or use a cleaning tape (not supplied).
Q4: The speaker produces no sound.
A1: Check if earphones are plugged in; unplugging them may enable the speaker.
Q5: Volume is low.
A1: The batteries may be weak.
