Diagram and Dimensions

The Rite-Temp® K-28304-KSL thermostatic valve body and cartridge is depicted with key dimensions and installation requirements. The valve body features inlet ports designed for 1/2" NPT and 5/8" ID for 1/2" Nominal Copper Tubing. Outlet ports are positioned for mixed water supply. Key dimensions include an overall width of approximately 5-7/8" (149 mm) and a depth of approximately 3-1/2" (89 mm). The diagram specifies wall cutout dimensions: for finished walls less than 3/4" (19 mm) thick, a Ø 4-1/2" (114 mm) cutout is needed; for walls greater than 3/4" (19 mm) thick, a Ø 5" (127 mm) cutout is recommended. Vertical spacing between ports is 1-15/16" (49 mm).
